L641 and L642 has tested positive for only one submission: Simmons (1). L642 should be considered redundant with L641 until a father - son relationship can be confirmed via additional testing. For the eight testing candidates, it is recommended that both L641 and L642 be tested.
No testing candidates were found that exceeded 60 % of the L641 fingerprint. Only twelve submissions were found that match the L641 fingerprint at 50 % or higher. However, the key marker in the L641 fingerprint appears to be the very rare marker value 570 <= 13. Only ten submissions out of 5,200 submissions have this rare marker value.
1) At six of ten matches, four have the combination of 570 <=13 as well as 492 <= 11 and 464a <= 14. These submissions are good testing candidates based on the rare marker value of 570: Morgan (30363), Ramsey (87408), James (77216) and Williams (16440).
2) Another four testing candidates were found slightly below 50 % matches that have the rare marker value of 570. All of these testing candidates should tested for both L641 and L642: James (134811), Harris (135473 and 211960) and Taylor (48798).
Only submissions that have 570 <= 13 should be tested at this point in time until the true L641 fingerprint is determined.
