Testing Recommendatons (March, 2013)
Candidates for CTS4466 testing (in order of testing priority and decreasing odds of testing positive) include:
1) For the fingerprint CTS4466-M, all testing candidates above 70 % (7 of 9 match or higher) should be tested - unless multiple submissions descend from the same oldest proven ancestor. See the CTS4466 spreadsheet under the DNA Results pull down menu for a listing of over 200 good testing candidates.
2) For fingerprint matches between 50 and 70
% (6 of 9 match), testing is recommended until the true scope of CTS4466 is determined. The 130 good testing candidates found in the DNA Results spreadsheet should be considered somewhat speculative in nature but many should test positive if the scope of CTS4466 tests proves broad as expected.
3) For the fingerprint CTS4466-C, there are 60 good testing candidates above 70 % and another 160 at 8 of 11 matches. Since the true scope of CTS446-C is not well known, lower fingerprint matches should be tested as well.
Only test for those candidates that are highlighted in green, blue or yellow. The higher in the spreadsheet, the more likely of testing positive for CTS4466.
