WILLIAM LYON STEVENSON (71.4.9) is the son of James Stevenson, II and Jane (Stevenson) Stevenson.  William was born on January 24, 1798 in North Carolina.  William Stephenson married Lavinia Smith (born April 25, 1802).  William and Lavinia Stephenson were the parents of eight children:

Lavinia (Smith) Stephenson died on February 2, 1840 in Russellville, Kentucky and was buried there in the Russellville Cemetery.  From 1870 to 1880, William L. Stephenson was living with his daughter, Susan (Stephenson) McCarroll, in Christian County, Kentucky.  William Stephenson died on January 28, 1881 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and was buried there in the Riverside Cemetery.

John Stephenson married four times but had no children.  John moved Houston, Texas.  In 1859, John built a house on Washington on the Brazos, Texas.  Sydney Stephenson never married.  In 1849, Sydney went to California during the Gold Rush.  He later spent time in South America and lived in Denver, Colorado for many years.  During the last years, he lived with his sister, Sarah (Stephenson) McKeen in Venus, Texas and Graham, Texas.  Sydney Stephenson died in 1910 in Graham, Texas and was buried in Graham, Texas.  In 1857, Sarah Stephenson married John Watson (born 1835) in Washington on the Brazos, Texas.  John Watson died in Dallas, Texas.  In 1884, Sarah married a second time to Dr. S. E. McKeen in Galveston, Texas.  Sarah (Stephenson) McKeen died on January 22, 1929 in Bullard, Texas and was buried there in the Bullard Cemetery.

JAMES CALLOWAY STEPHENSON (71.4.9.1) is the son of William Lyon Stephenson and Lavinia (Smith) Stephenson.  James was born on January 22, 1822 in Statesville, North Carolina.  On July 12, 1850, James Stephenson married Mary Jane Burleson.  Mary was born on January 13, 1822 in Hardeman City, Tennessee and is the daughter of Edward Burleson and Sarah Griffin (Owen) Burleson.  James and Mary Stephenson were the parents of four children:

SUSAN LAVINIA STEPHENSON (71.4.9.7) is the daughter of William Lyon Stephenson and Lavinia (Smith) Stephenson.  Susan was born on December 17, 1835 in Statesville, North Carolina.  On August 30, 1854, Susan Stephenson married James Edwin McCarroll in Clarksville, Tennessee.  James was born on November 11, 1831 in Oakland, Kentucky.  James served as a corporal in the Confederate Army.  He served in Company E of the Confederate Guards of Louisiana.  James and Susan McCarroll were the parents of ten children:

In 1927, Charles Markham married Josephine Hereford in Dallas, Texas.  Josephine was born on December 20, 1898 in Dallas, Texas.  Charles and Josephine Markham had no children.  Charles Markham died on January 13, 1953 in Dallas, Texas and was buried in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Highland Park, Texas.  In 1912, Sydney Markham married Lena Corbett in Dallas, Texas.  Lena was born in 1894 in Dallas, Texas.  Sydney and Lena Markham had no children.  Sydney was a veteran of World War I and served in France.  Sydney Markham died in 1934 in Dallas, Texas and was buried there in the Oakdale Cemetery.  Frank Markham never married.  Frank Markham died in August of 1925 in Dallas, Texas and was buried there in the Oakdale Cemetery.

Conway married Elizabeth Naomi Calhoun in Waynesboro, Virginia.  Elizabeth was born on March 23, 1927 in Wilmington, Delaware.  Lester and Elizabeth Conway have two children:  -  Elizabeth Graeme Conway, b. McCarroll married Stella R. Lewis in Dallas, Texas.  Stella was born in 1876 in Dallas, Texas.  James and Stella McCarroll had three children:

McCarroll died in the 1950s in Jacksonville, Texas and was buried in Jacksonville, Texas.  Lewis McCarroll married Eloise Alexander and they have three children.  Louise McCarroll died as a child on January 12, 1918 in Bullard, Texas and was buried there in the Bullard Cemetery.  Graham McCarroll married Beryl Bolton in Jacksonville, Texas and they had two children.  Graham McCarroll died in Jacksonville, Texas.
