On December 11, 1926, Ethel Foster married Emil Otis Qualls in Wister, Oklahoma. Otis was born August 16, 1906 in Clarksville, Arkansas and is the son of William Thomas Qualls and Dora Belle (Self) Qualls. Otis and Ethel Qualls were the parents of four children:

Ethel attended grade school through the eight grade in Wister, Oklahoma. She attended one year of high school in Fort Smith, Arkansas. After Ethel married Otis Qualls, they moved to Shawnee, Oklahoma and started farming. Ethel grew and canned all kinds of vegetables and fruit. Ethel and Otis also delivered milk, eggs, dressed chickens and vegetables in season to regular customers in Shawnee. Ethel sold Avon cosmetics for fourteen years, winning many prizes for her volume of sales. For the past several years, she has served as inspector at her voting precinct. She was a member of an Extension Homemakers Club for several years. She won many prizes at the county fair on her sewing and canning exhibits. In 1942, Ethel and Otis sold out their farm and moved to Los Angeles, California to work in an aircraft plant. They only stayed six weeks, as Otis did not like the big city (Ethel liked it). They returned to Shawnee where Otis commuted to Midwest City to work at the Douglas Aircraft plant. After World War II, Otis worked for a furniture store in Shawnee for four years. He then worked for the City of Shawnee water department until he retired at age sixty-five. Otis Qualls died of lung cancer on September 13, 1972 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. As of 1986, Ethel (Foster) Qualls was living in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

MELBA ANN QUALLS (3.5.6.1) is the daughter of Emil Otis Qualls and Ethel Larue (Foster) Qualls. Melba was born on October 20, 1927 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Susan was a National Merit Finalist and won a University Scholars scholarship to the University of Oklahoma where she attended one semester. On March 8, 1969, Susan Tubbs married Benjamin Neal Hobbs of Ringling, Oklahoma at Duncan, Oklahoma. Susan worked as a secretary for the Public Information Officer at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Neal and Susan then moved to Healdton, Oklahoma where Neal managed a supermarket. Susan also worked at the supermarket. Neal and Susan Hobbs are the parents of one son:

MARILYN JUNE TUBBS (3.5.6.1.2) is the daughter of Arlie Lester Tubbs and Melba Ann (Qualls) Tubbs. Marilyn was born on July 28, 1951 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Marilyn was a talented musician and was a member of the junior high and high school bands. She worked at a department store during high school and made all of her clothes. Marilyn won a scholarship to Oklahoma State University, but she chose to get married. On August 31, 1969, Marilyn Tubbs married Donald Wayne Teeples of Comanche, Oklahoma. She worked as secretary to the Director of the Student Union at Oklahoma State University while Don finished school. Don joined the Air Force and they lived in Mesa, Arizona for five years. Don left the Air Force and they moved to Arlington, Texas. Don and Marilyn Teeples are the parents of three children:

ARLIE RICHARD TUBBS (3.5.6.1.3) is a son of Arlie Lester Tubbs and Melba (Qualls) Tubbs. Arlie was born on December 6, 1952 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Arlie worked at a supermarket during high school and from an early age he went with his father to help on the bread route on Saturdays and during school holidays. Arlie studied Computer Programming at the Duncan Vo-Tech School and had a natural aptitude for programming. He worked for the school for several years and later with a bank in Duncan, Oklahoma. In 1972, Arlie Tubbs married Linda Diane Bixler in Duncan, Oklahoma. Arlie and Linda Tubbs are the parents of two children:

PEGGY ANN TUBBS (3.5.6.1.4) is the daughter of Arlie Lester Tubbs and Melba Ann (Qualls) Tubbs. Peggy was born on May 26, 1956 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Peggy worked as a secretary at the Country Club during her senior year in high school. Peggy was a National Merit Finalist and received a University Scholars scholarship to the University of Oklahoma. Peggy worked in one of the University offices during college. She graduated with a degree in Education and taught English in schools in Norman and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. On January 7, 1978, Peggy Tubbs married Paul Dwight Black in Norman, Oklahoma. After Paul graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Paul and Peggy moved to Wichita, Kansas. Paul worked for Boeing Aircraft for one year. Peggy worked for the Derby, Kansas school system as a Homebound Teacher and as a substitute teacher. They moved back to Norman, Oklahoma where Paul workes for TOTCO Corporation as a design engineer. CHARLES OTIS TUBBS (3.5.6.1.5) is the son of Arlie Lester Tubbs and Melba Ann (Qualls) Tubbs. Charles was born on August 16, 1958 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Charles was an outstanding student all through school. He had a scientific turn of mind, repairing and experimenting with electrical appliances from an early age. He was also musically talented and played in the school band through junior high and high school. Charles worked in a supermarket during high school. He was a National Merit Finalist and received a University Scholars scholarship to the University of Oklahoma. During his college years, he worked at the National Severe Storms Laboratory and the Emergency Room of the Norman Municipal Hospital. He graduated with a degree in Ultra-Sound Technology. He entered the University of Oklahoma Medical school. He was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, an honorary medical fraternity. He graduated with a degree in Medicine on June 2, 1985. Charles accepted a residency in Radiology at University Hospital, the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina. On August 1, 1981, Charles Tubbs married Alison Sharp, daughter of Ansel Sharp and Martha Sharp of Stillwater, Oklahoma. They were married in Duncan, Oklahoma. Alison has a degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked at a hospital in Oklahoma City the four years he attended medical school. She is now employed by the school system of Charleston, South Carolina. Charles and Alison are nature lovers, ardent back-packers and campers.

NANCY DIANE TUBBS (3.5.6.1.6) is the daughter of Arlie Lester Tubbs and Melba Ann (Qualls) Tubbs. Nancy was born on June 14, 1960 in Duncan, Oklahoma. Nancy worked as a bank teller during her senior year. She was a National Merit Finalist and received a University Scholars scholarship to the University of Oklahoma. Nancy worked for the National Severe Storms Laboratory while in college. Nancy graduated with a degree in Letters. On January 1, 1983, Nancy Tubbs married Randall Wade Peterson in Duncan, Oklahoma. She worked for the University as a receptionist while Randy finished his degree. Randy graduated with a degree in Computer Science and joined the Air Force. He was sent to Phoenix, Arizona where he completed his pilots training. Nancy worked as a hostess in a restaurant in Phoenix. They were stationed for six months in a northern California Air Force Base. Later he was transferred to Wichita, Kansas. Nancy is presently working as a vault teller in a bank in Wichita, Kansas. Nancy is taking Pilots Ground School in order to know more about flying, since that is her husbands career.

BOBBY RALPH QUALLS (3.5.6.2) is the son of Emil Otis Qualls and Ethel Larue (Foster) Qualls. Bobby was born on December 24, 1929 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. On August 30, 1952, Bobby Qualls married Billie Jean LaClaire in Hernando, Mississippi. Billie was born on September 24, 1929 in Wewoka, Oklahoma and is the daughter of Henry LaClaire and Berta LaClaire. In 1952, Bobby Qualls earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Oklahoma Baptist University at Shawnee, Oklahoma and in 1966, he received a Master of Science Degree in geophysics from Tulsa University. His masters thesis Inner Crustal Formations of the Earth was later published as a hard cover book. Bobby was recently a director of the Northeast Region and Special Projects for Atlantic Richfield Oil Company. He was formerly supervisor of Geophysical Analysis and Processing for ARCO. Bobby was one of ARCOs two United States directors. He directed off-shore drilling in the Northeast Region which includes all states east of the Mississippi River. In 1986, Bobby retired after working thirty-four years as geophysicist for two major companies and two seismograph contractors, the last twenty-one years with Atlantic Richfield Company. Bobby and Billie Qualls are the parents of three children:

ESTHER ANN FOSTER (3.5.7) is the daughter of Oscar David Foster and Virginia (Shelton) Foster. Esther was born on April 8, 1912 in Alma, Arkansas. As a young girl she lived in Alma, Arkansas, Fort Smith, Arkansas and on a farm six miles from Wister, Oklahoma. Esther went to California in June, 1940. While there, she met and later married Francisco Ramirez on October 29, 1940. Francisco was born on November 29, 1906 in Guanajuato, Leon, Mexico. They lived on Tagus Ranch, a fruit farm about six miles from Tulare, California where Francisco worked. Francisco and Esther Rameriz were the parents of two sons:

Esther and Francisco Ramirez were divorced on February 13, 1958. Francisco Ramirez died in December of 1982 at his home outside Estacion Victoria, Baja California, Mexico. On January 31, 1959, Esther married a second time to Melvin Moor. Melvin was born on October 14, 1919 and is a son of Alford Russell Moor and Mabel (Hamilton) Moor. Melvin repaired all farm machinery, including cotton picking machines for one of the largest ranches in the world, J. G. Boswell Corporation near Corcoran, California. Melvin retired in 1982 and he and Esther presently live in Corcoran, California.

In June of 1969, Donald received an Associate of Arts degree in Mathematics from Los Angeles Valley Community College in Van Nuys, California. In June of 1971, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from San Fernando Valley State College in Northridge, California. In 1973, he received a Masters of Art degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles. From September of 1971 to June of 1975, Donald was a Ford Foundation Doctoral Fellow and as of 1975, was Candidate of Philosophy in Mathematics.
From 1974 to 1976, Donald was a part-time instructor at Los Angeles Valley College in Van Nuys, California. From June of 1975 to June of 1981, he worked as an aerospace engineer at T. R. W. in Redondo Beach, California. While working there, he was involved in the analysis of inertial navigation systems for intercontinental ballistic missiles. From July of 1981 to present, Donald has been a self-employed aerospace consultant. On May 10, 1963, Donald married a second time to Sally May Berggren in Felton, California. Donald and Sally Ramirez were divorced on November 7, 1975. On December 29, 1982, Donald Ramirez married a third time to Alana Rae (Allen) Stamm in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alana was previously married and was from Long Beach, California. She has two children: Craig W. Allen and Amber Rae Allen. Donald, Alana and their family currently live in Big Bear Lake, California.
On December 19, 1982, Steven Ramirez married Deborah King in Oxnard, California. Steven attended school in Tulare, California and is now working for a large corporation. Deborah Ramirez also is employed. They presently live in Oxnard, California. Steven and Deborah Ramirez are the parents of one son: - David Lee Ramirez.

DORA SHELTON (3.6) is the daughter of William Martin Shelton and Martha Adeline (Shelton) Shelton. Dora was born on December 31, 1879 in Meg, Arkansas. On October 8, 1912, Dora Shelton married John T. Holcombe (born May 25, 1876). John and Dora Holcombe were the parents of one son:

John Holcombe died in 1920 and Dora (Shelton) Holcombe died in January of 1934. Raymond Holcombe died at the age of ten on November 21, 1924.

WILLIAM T. SHELTON (3.7) is the son of William Martin Shelton and Martha Adeline (Shelton) Shelton. William was born on December 4, 1883 in Meg, Arkansas. On December 24, 1908, William Shelton married Ada Clark (born 1888 in Arkansas). William and Ada Shelton were the parents of two children:

William Shelton owned and operated a grocery store in Kanima, (Haskell County), Oklahoma for several years. He also served as postmaster for Kanima until it was closed around 1940. Ada (Clark) Shelton died in 1937 in Stigler, Oklahoma. A few years after Adas death, William Shelton married Maude Smith of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. They lived on a farm and he helped with the operation of the farm. After the death of Maude Shelton, he lived with his sister, Florence (Shelton) Casey, in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was visiting his daughter (Jewell) when he suffered a fatal heart attack. William T. Shelton died on November 13, 1957. William was buried next to his wife, Ada (Clark) Shelton, in the Stigler Cemetery in Stigler, Oklahoma. William Voyt Shelton died at the age of seventeen on September 28, 1928 and was buried in the Stigler Cemetery. Voyt was a sophomore at Connor State College in Warner, Oklahoma when he died of peritonitis from a ruptured appendix.

JEWELL VELDA SHELTON (3.7.1) is the daughter of William T. Shelton and Ada (Clark) Shelton. Jewell was born on November 19, 1909 in Webb City, Arkansas. Jewell graduated from Keota High School and Conner State College. She was a teacher in Checotah at Elmgrove and Carr Creek schools. Jewell was an accomplished piano player and played at many of the college activities. Jewell Shelton married Fred Irvin and they were the parents of six children:
