JOHN ALLEN SHELTON (1.4.4) is the son of John Shelton and Isabel (Bynum) Shelton.  John was born on February 21, 1843 in Jackson County, Alabama.  John Allen Shelton served in the Confederate Army with the Texas Wild Cats, Company N, First Texas Legion, Daingerfield, Texas.  John enlisted on March 10, 1862 and served about nine months.  On May 21, 1868, John Shelton married Martha Gage in Madison County, Arkansas.  Martha was born on May 21, 1842 in Arkansas and is the daughter of Stephen Sparks Gage and Mary Catherine (Sharp) Gage.  John and Martha Shelton were the parents of at least eight children:

From 1880 to 1920, John and Martha Shelton were living in Franklin County, Arkansas.   Martha (Gage) Shelton died in October 30, 1923 in Ozark, Arkansas and John Allen Shelton died on July 6, 1928 in Ozark, Arkansas.  Both were buried in the Gage Cemetery in Franklin County, Arkansas.  Isabel Catharine Shelton died at the age one year on August 25, 1871.  Martha Shelton died as an infant on March 5, 1884 and was buried in the Gage Cemetery in Franklin County, Arkansas.  Mary Shelton died at the age of nine in 1893 and was buried in the Gage Cemetery in Franklin County, Arkansas.  Jasper Shelton died as an infant on January 8, 1887.

JAMES MARTIN SHELTON (1.4.4.1) is the son of John Allen Shelton and Martha (Gage) Shelton.  Martin was born on March 28, 1869 in Ozark, Arkansas.  Martin Shelton married “Mollie” Pinketon and they lived in Shamrock, Texas.  Martin and Mollie Shelton were the parents of at least five children:

LUCELIA SHELTON (1.4.4.3) is the daughter of John Allen Shelton and Martha (Gage) Shelton.  Lucelia was born on April 13, 1872 in Ozark, Arkansas.  Lucelia Shelton married John Henry Terry and they lived in Ozark, Arkansas.  John and Lucelia Terry were the parents of five children:

On December 28, 1945, Molly Terry married David E. Pruitt and they have three children:  -  Junior E. Pruitt, b. October 2, 1947,  -  Mary Rosetta Pruitt, b. April 5, 1949,  -  Martha Lou Pruitt, b. May 19, 1953.  David and Molly Pruitt were farmers and raised strawberries on their farm.  Junior Pruitt has not married.  He worked for Cargill, Inc. for nineteen years.  On September 27, 1969, Mary Pruitt married Kenneth Clyde Smith, the son of Fred Smith and Ora Smith.  Kenneth and Mary Smith were the parents of four children:  -  Calvin Roy Smith, b. May 15, 1970,  -  Michael K. Smith, b. December 4, 1971,  -  Rebecca Ann Smith, b. August 17, 1974,  -  Jennifer Joan Smith, b. May 22, 1979.  Martha Pruitt married Bobby Carl Craig.  Bobby and Martha Craig were the parents of one daughter:  -  Christie Gail Craig, b. March 3, 1980.  Bobby and Martha Craig were divorced in June of 1981.  Martha works as a emergency medical technician for Franklin County, Arkansas and also works for at Garan Ins. making children clothes.  As of 1987, Martha (Pruitt) Craig was living in Ozark, Arkansas.

MARION EDWARD SHELTON (1.4.4.4) is the son of John Allen Shelton and Martha (Gage) Shelton.  Marion was born on August 24, 1876 in Ozark, Arkansas.  In 1905, Marion Shelton married Effie Mae Bearden and they lived in Ozark, Arkansas.  Effie was born on December 27, 1885 in Kentucky and is the daughter of Richard B. Bearden and Louisa (Fulks) Bearden.  Marion and Effie Shelton were the parents of at least eight children:

Shelton died on January 23, 1916 and was buried in the Morgan Hill Cemetery in Franklin County, Arkansas.  Beanland Edward Shelton married Pearl Williams.  Pearl is the daughter of Amos Asa Williams and Ida (Edwards) Williams.  Pearl’s sister, Lillian Williams, married James Athel Shelton (1.4.4.4.1).  Beanland was a Building Inspector.  Beanland and Pearl Shelton were the parents of two children:  -  Janice Shelton,  -  Joyce Shelton.  Beanland Shelton died in Kern County, California.  Janice Shelton married Verlon Braisher and they have three children:  -  Janee Evaum Braisher,  -  Randy Braisher,  -  Stephanie Braisher.  Joyce Shelton married Charles Beam and they have two children:  -  Michelle Beam,  -  Tony Beam.  Ruby Mae Shelton died young.  Clarabelle Shelton married Bill G. JAMES ATHEL SHELTON (1.4.4.4.1) is the son of Marion Edward Shelton and Effie Mae (Bearden) Shelton.  Athel was born on April 26, 1906 in Ozark, Arkansas.  In June of 1930, Athel Shelton married Lillian Lois Williams in Franklin County, Arkansas.  Lillian was born on August 26, 1912 in Franklin County, Arkansas and is the daughter of Amos Asa Williams and Ida (Edwards) Williams.  Lillian’s sister, Pearl Williams, married Beanland Edward Shelton (1.4.4.4.4).  Athel and Lillian Shelton were the parents of three children:

On January 3, 1974, Darla Kay Bowen married Steven Bloomdahl.  Steven was born on May 4, 1947 in Montana and is the son of Warren Bloomdahl and Betty (Behl) Bloomdahl.  Steven is an architect in Winter Park, Florida and Darla is a reservationist for Piedmont Airlines in Orlando, Florida.  Steven and Darla Bloomdahl have three children (all born in Fayetteville, Arkansas):  -  Christopher Martin Bloomdahl, b. May 8, 1977,   -  Nicholas Alexander Bloomdahl, b. April 18, 1979,  -  Nathaniel Patrick Bloomdahl, b. March 25, 1981.  On November 14, 1975, Donald Bowen married Nella Jean Runyon.  Nella was born in 1958 and is the son of Archie Runyon and Ruth Runyon.  Donald and Nella Bowen have one daughter:  -  Jennifer Nicole Bowen, b. July 15, 1977, Huntsville, Arkansas.  Dennis Bowen died as an infant on December 2, 1959 in Coalinga, California.

On September 13, 1962, James Roney Shelton married Elizabeth Ann Stewart in Ozark, Arkansas.  Elizabeth was born on June 30, 1942 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and is the daughter of Harris Lowell Stewart and Elizabeth (Renfro) Stewart.  James and Elizabeth Shelton have two children:  -  Damon Ray Shelton, b. August 8, 1963, Fort Smith, Arkansas,  -  Coletta Kathyleen Shelton, b. February 24, 1967, Fort Smith, Arkansas.  Damon Shelton married Sheila Corrine Baldwin (born in Charleston, Arkansas) and they have three children (all born in Sebastian County, Arkansas):  -  Cathaleen Summer Shelton, b. MARY ELLEN SHELTON (1.4.4.4.3) is the daughter of Marion Edward Shelton and Effie Mae (Bearden) Shelton.  Mary was born on February 19, 1911 in Ozark, Arkansas.  Mary Ellen Shelton married William Hartsel Spicer.  Hartsel is the son of George Washington Spicer and Addie (Grist) Spicer.  Hartsel and Mary Spicer were the parents of four children:

On February 12, 1966, Marvin Spicer married Shirley Ann Gattis in Paris, Arkansas.  Shirley was born on March 24, 1939 in Paris, Arkansas and is the daughter of Marvin Jewell Gattis and Zelma Oma (Johnson) Gattis.  Marvin and Shirley Spicer have two children:  -  Kimberly Ann Spicer, b. September 3, 1976, Fort Smith, Arkansas,  -  Karen Ranee Spicer, b. RACHEL QUAMI SHELTON (1.4.4.4.4) is the daughter of Marion Edward Shelton and Effie Mae (Bearden) Shelton.  Rachel was born on October 7, 1912 in Ozark, Arkansas.  On February 20, 1931, Rachel Shelton married Leard Woodruff in Ozark, Arkansas.  Leard was born on February 20, 1910 in Logan County, Arkansas and is the son of Samuel Franklin Woodruff and Lillie Mae (Nease) Woodruff.  Leard and Rachel Woodruff are the parents of three children:

LILLIAN REBECCA SHELTON (1.4.4.4.6) is the daughter of Marion Edward Shelton and Effie Mae (Bearden) Shelton.  Lillian was born on April 16, 1919 in Ozark, Arkansas.  On October 4, 1936, Lillian Shelton married Woodrow Wilson Lievsay in Paris, Arkansas.  Woodrow was born on March 2, 1913 in Paris, Arkansas and is the son of Walter William Lievsay and Sarah Josephine (Spillers) Lievsay.  Woodrow and Lillian Lievsay are the parents of three children:

Woodrow was a Cloyes Machine Operator and a farmer.  On August 10, 1957, Wilma Lievsay married Rolla Mel Breed in Paris, Arkansas.  Rolla was born on October 11, 1937 in Havana, Arkansas and is the son of Rolla Byron Breed and Mary Ann (Pearce) Breed.  Rolla worked for General Dynamics.  Rolla and Wilma Breed have two children:  -  Mark Allen Breed, b. May 10, 1958, El Paso, Texas,  -  David Keith Breed, b. March 24, 1965, Pacific, Missouri.

On July 24, 1962, Wilda Jean Lievsay married Charles Edward Curbow in Poteau, Oklahoma.  Charles was born on October 28, 1934 in Tyler, Texas and is the son of Edward Odell Curbow and Lola Ellen (McKeithen) Curbow.  Charles is the owner of Custom Mufflers.  Charles and Wilda Jean Curbow have three children:  -  Charles Edward Curbow, Jr., b. SUSANNAH MALINDA SHELTON (1.4.4.5) is the daughter of John Allen Shelton and Martha (Gage) Shelton.  Susannah was born on April 23, 1880 in Ozark, Arkansas.  Susannah Shelton married Joe Girard (born July 5, 1884).  Joe and Susannah Girard were the parents of two children:

Susannah (Shelton) Girard died on April 30, 1963 in Sebastian County, Arkansas and Joe Girard died in 1965.  On October 10, 1937, Geneva Girard married Hugh Carney (born May 7, 1917 in Crawford County, Arkansas).  Hugh and Geneva Carney have one son:  -  Billy Joe Carney, b. July 2, 1943, Charleston, Arkansas.  On October 11, 1963, Billy Joe Carney married Elaine Moore.  Elaine was born on December 3, 1943 in Charleston, Arkansas and is the daughter of Orville Moore and Lorene (Hunter) Moore.  Billy Joe and Elaine Carney have two sons:  -  Jeffrey Carney, b. November 15, 1968,  -  John Carney, b. March 23, 1975.  Julian Girard died as a child in 1920.
