Olliff and Laura Virginia (Nichols) Olliff.  Remer was born on August 28, 1883 in Emanuel County, Georgia.  On December 21, 1905, Remer Olliff married Eva Mittie Cannady in Emanuel County, Georgia.  Eva was born on March 3, 1888 in Emanuel County, Georgia and is the daughter of John William Cannady (born 1847 in Georgia) and Eleanor (Jones) Cannady (born 1849 in Georgia).  In 1910, Remer and Eva Olliff were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  In 1920, Remer and Eva Olliff were living in Appling County, Georgia.  Remer and Eva Olliff were the parents of at least six children:

Victor Olliff married Gwinette Lightsey.  Gwinette is the daughter of Jannis O. Olliff and Laura Virginia (Nichols) Olliff.  James was born on March 16, 1889 in Emanuel County, Georgia.  On February 15, 1912, James Olliff married Martha “Lois” Turner in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Lois was born in April of 1895 in Georgia and is the daughter of Nelson Wayne Turner and Nancy Ann Amanda (Cobb) Turner.  James and Lois Olliff were the parents of nine children:

In 1920, James and Lois Olliff were living in Candler County, Georgia.  James was a farmer most of his life and also operated a crossroad grocery store for several years.  James Olliff died on February 20, 1951 in Bulloch County, Georgia and Lois (Turner) Olliff died on December 26, 1964.  Both were buried in the Rosemary Cemetery.  James Olliff, Jr. died of pneumonia as an infant on March 27, 1924 and was buried in the Rosemary Cemetery.  The infant born on March 11, 1924 died the same day that he was born on March 11, 1924 in Candler County, Georgia.  On December 21, 1948, Mary Olliff married Lovie Cartee Waller in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Lovie and Mary Waller have one son:  -  Stevie Cartee Waller, b. B. degree from Mercer University.  Lynn later received two Masters degrees and a Doctorate degree in theology and ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina.  Lynn and Linda worked in ministry together, planning new churches and working with existing congregations in a pastoral role.  Lynn and Linda Reddick have two children:  -  Gregory Lynn Reddick, b. RAYMON WAYNE OLLIFF (1.2.2.6.5.5) is the son of James Harrison Olliff and Lois (Turner) Olliff.  Raymon was born on August 13, 1920 in Candler County, Georgia.  On March 7, 1942, Raymon Olliff married Karl Scarboro.  Raymon and Karl Olliff are the parents of two children:

   Norman Wesly Olliff, b. May 26, 1943, Bulloch County, Georgia
   Wayne Raymon Olliff, b. March 13, 1945, Bulloch County, Georgia

During the 1940’s, Raymon served in the United States Navy and was stationed in Florida.  Raymon was a farmer most of his life and at one time ran a hog operation.  On July 31, 1965, Norman Olliff married Edith Ruth Johnson in Atlanta, Georgia.  Norman and Edith Olliff have one daughter:  -  Katie Joanna Olliff, b. October 15, 1979, DeKalb County, Georgia.

In 1965, Wayne R. Olliff married Wanda Sue Lanier and they have two children:  -  Wayne Raymon Olliff, Jr., b. June 10, 1966,  -  Jeffrey Harrison Olliff, b. MABREY “LORINE” OLLIFF (1.2.2.6.5.8) is the daughter of James Harrison Olliff and Lois (Turner) Olliff.  Lorine was born on January 10, 1926 in Candler County, Georgia.  On June 24, 1944, Lorine Olliff married Willie Preston Hendricks in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Willie is the son of Walter Preston Hendricks and Effie Marie (Ranew) Hendricks.

Lorine (Olliff) Hendricks worked for the Corps of Engineers in Savannah, Georgia and then worked for the United States Public Health Service on Oakland Island.  In 1967, she worked for Farm Bureau in Candler County, Georgia and retired as the agency manager in 1989.  In 1991, Lorine published a cookbook.  On November 27, 1966, Kay Hendricks married Molie Wayne Gibbs in Bulloch County, Georgia and they have two children:  -  Jason Wayne Gibbs, b. October 1, 1968, Bulloch County, Georgia,  -  Scott Preston Gibbs, b. December 16, 1970, Bulloch County, Georgia.  In 1980, Kay Hendricks married a second time to William Francis Killbride in Candler County, Georgia.  On November 23, 1990, Kay married a third time to Craig Henry Roell in Albany, Georgia.  Jason Gibbs lives in Newport, Rhode Island.

Gaunt and they have no children.  On August 14, 1976, Joni McGowan married Charles David Adams.  Charles was born on October 28, 1945.

WILLIAM J. OLLIFF (1.2.5) is the son of John Olliff and Elizabeth (Fitzpatrick) Olliff.  William was born on March 10, 1832 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  In 1860, William Olliff was living with his brother, Joseph Olliff, in Emanuel County, Georgia.  On November 26, 1867 (probably 1857), William Olliff married Nancy Green in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Nancy was born in 1830 in Georgia.  William and Nancy Olliff were the parents of at least three children:

   John Olliff, b. 1858, Bulloch County, Georgia
   Ely Olliff, b. 1860, Bulloch County, Georgia
   Nidry Ann Olliff, b. 1862, Bulloch County, Georgia

In 1870, William and Nancy Olliff were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  William Olliff may have married a second time to Mary E. Cannady.  William J. Olliff (1.2.5) may be the same person of William Olliff (9.2.2) and the husband of Mary E. Olliff (9.2.3).  John Olliff married Mary E. Cannady.  Mary was born on November 19, 1852 in Emanuel County, Georgia and is the daughter of Daniel B. Cannady and Rebecca (Durden) Cannady.  Mary’s brother, William Perry Cannady, married Mariah A. Olliff (1.2.2.2).  Mary (Cannady) Olliff died on February 15, 1937.

BENJAMIN J. OLLIFF (1.2.7) is the son of John Olliff and Elizabeth (Fitzpatrick) Olliff.  Benjamin was born on December 1, 1836 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  In 1860, Benjamin Olliff and his wife, Anna Olliff (born 1840 in Georgia), were living in Emanuel County, Georgia.  Benjamin Olliff served in the Confederate Army.  Benjamin served in Company “H” of the 48th Regiment of the Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Army of Northern Virginia.  Benjamin Olliff died of chronic diarrhea at Falling Creek, Virginia on February 10, 1863.

MARTHA OLLIFF (1.2.9) is the daughter of John Olliff and Elizabeth (Fitzpatrick) Olliff.  Martha was born on August 21, 1840 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On December 14, 1875, Martha Olliff married William R. Rowe (born September of 1843 in Georgia) in Bulloch County, Georgia.  William and Martha Rowe were the parents of two children:

   Mary A. E. Rowe, b. 1877, Bulloch County, Georgia
   Thomas Jefferson Rowe, b. October 2, 1880, Bulloch County, Georgia

From 1880 to 1910, William and Martha Rowe were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  From 1880 to 1900, Martha’s sister, Elizabeth Olliff, was living with them.  Thomas Rowe married Ella Croft (born July 16, 1878).  Thomas J. Rowe died on March 10, 1933 and Ella (Croft) Rowe died on September 15, 1958.  Both were buried in the Union Church Cemetery in Bulloch County, Georgia.
