ALLEN ZADOCK OLLIFF (1.3.4) is the son of Benjamin Shears Olliff and Elizabeth (Turner) Olliff.  Zadock was born on November 12, 1824 in Georgia.  Around 1850, Zadock Olliff moved to Brooks County, Georgia and settled about seven miles north of Quitman, Georgia.  In 1854, Zadock Olliff married Elizabeth Forsythe Williams.  Elizabeth was born on October 13, 1837 in Brooks County, Georgia and is the daughter of Bartimaeus Williams and Mary Ann (Cubbedge) Williams.  After the death of his father, several of Zadock sisters came and lived in Zadock’s home.  Martha, Margaret, Elizabeth and Susanna Olliff all lived with Zadock after the death of their father in 1854.  Zadock and Elizabeth Olliff were the parents of at least twelve children:

Zadock Olliff served as a private in the 81st Georgia Battalion of the Confederate Army during the Civil War.  Zadock was wounded on the side of his head by a shell fragment which caused permanent deafness and much suffering the rest of his life.  From 1860 to 1900, Zadock and Elizabeth Olliff were living in Brooks County, Georgia.  In 1870 and 1880, Zadock’s sister, Elizabeth Olliff, was living with them.  Allen Zadock Olliff died on September 21, 1903 and Elizabeth (Williams) Olliff died on March 15, 1913.  Both were buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery between Quitman and Valdosta, Georgia.  Orrel V. Olliff (daughter that was born in 1859) died as child on September 20, 1869 and was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery.  Anna T. Olliff (born 1866) died as an infant on November 2, 1867 and was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

On January 23, 1901, Lillie Olliff married Christopher L. Bozeman in Brooks County, Georgia.  Christopher and Lillie Bozemean had no children.  For several years, they farmed about two miles west of Quitman, Georgia.  During the “Florida Boom,” they sold out and went to Florida, investing in real estate.  Like others, the depression obliterated their holdings and they lost practically everything.  Christopher Bozeman died on October 28, 1937 at Plant City, Florida and was buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman, Georgia.  Lillie returned to Brooks County, Georgia and died of a cerebral hemorrhage on February 27, 1951.  Thomas J. Olliff died as a child on November 8, 1888 and was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery located between Quitman and Valdosta, Georgia.

BENJAMIN BARTAEMUS OLLIFF (1.3.4.1) is the son of Allen Zadock Olliff and Elizabeth Forsythe (Williams) Olliff.  Benjamin was born on July 27, 1855 in Georgia.  On March 1, 1882, Benjamin Olliff married Eliza Matilda Walker in Brooks County, Georgia.  “Lydie” was born on July 10, 1851 in Georgia and is the daughter of Fleming Bates Walker and Sarah (Jones) Walker.  Benjamin and Lydie Olliff were the parents of at least three children:

   Fleming Zadock Olliff, b. May 2, 1883, Georgia
   William Bartaemus Olliff, b. November 19, 1886, Georgia
   Margaret Mae Olliff, b. September 12, 1891, Georgia

From 1900 to 1920, Benjamin and Lydie Olliff were living in Brooks County, Georgia.  Eliza (Walker) Olliff died on February 21, 1940 and Benjamin Bartaemus Olliff died three days later on February 24, 1940.  On February 11, 1906, Fleming Olliff married Ethel McKinis (born February 21, 1889 in Georgia) in Brooks County, Georgia.  Fleming and Ethel Olliff had no children.  From 1910 to 1920, Fleming and Ethel Olliff were living in Brooks County, Georgia.  Fleming Zadock Olliff died on March 26, 1958.

On February 6, 1910, William B. Olliff married Mattie Williams (born 1894 in Georgia) in Brooks County, Georgia.  In 1910, William and Mattie Olliff were living in Brooks County, Georgia.  On January 24, 1915, William B. Olliff married a second time to Gertrude Lewis (born June 6, 1891 in Georgia) in Brooks County, Georgia.  William and Gertrude Olliff had two children:  -  Pamelia Olliff, b. September 3, 1916, Brooks County, Georgia,  -  Willie B. Olliff, b. January 1, 1919, Brooks County, Georgia.  In 1920, “Will” and Gertrude Olliff were living with Will’s parents in Brooks County, Georgia.  William Bartaemus Olliff died on December 31, 1960.  Pamelia Olliff married Sydney Hope and they have one daughter:  -  Bonnie Gertrude Hope, b. February 27, 1953.  On July 26, 1941, Willie Olliff married Robert Neil Elsberry and they had three children:  -  Cheryl Louise Elsberry, b. January 20, 1946,  -  Dewey Neil Elsberry, b. December 24, 1947,  -  Karen Lavie Elsberry, b. October 19, 1955.  Robert Neil Elsberry died of a heart attack on February 15, 1965.  On June 25, 1965, Cheryl Elsberry married Larry Griner.  When Margaret Mae Olliff was a teenager, she was attending school in Sparks, Georgia.  She became ill, returned home and died of what was believed to have been typhoid fever.  Margaret “Mae” Olliff died as a teenager on June 12, 1906.

JOHN JAMES OLLIFF (1.3.4.2) is the son of Allen Zadock Olliff and Elizabeth Forsythe (Williams) Olliff.  John was born on January 21, 1857 in Georgia.  John Olliff married Sallie Golding (born April of 1856 in Georgia) and they had no children.  In 1900, John and Sallie Olliff were living in Brooks County, Georgia.  In 1910, John and Sallie Olliff were living in Brevard County, Florida.  On January 9, 1919, John Olliff married a second time to Martha “Mattie” Ellis (born 1888 in Georgia) in Brooks County, Georgia.  John and Mattie Olliff had no children.  In 1920, John and Mattie Olliff were living in Brooks County, Georgia.  John Olliff died on April 24, 1931 and was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery between Quitman and Valdosta, Georgia.

LAURA FRANCES OLLIFF (1.3.4.3) is the daughter of Allen Zadock Olliff and Elizabeth Forsythe (Williams) Olliff.  Laura was born on March 1, 1858 in Georgia.  On January 11, 1877, Laura Olliff married John Evers Morse (born November 25, 1850 in Georgia).  Laura was quite industrious, selling her fig preserves and celery relish to the local citizenry and to the leading boarding houses in Quitman, Georgia.  She was typically seen in her old sun bonnet, sweeping skirts and checked apron.  John and Laura Morse were the parents of two children:

   Minnie Lee Morse (1.3.4.3.1), b. December 3, 1877, Brooks County, Georgia
   Charles Evers Morse (1.3.4.3.2), b. December 27, 1879, Georgia

In 1910, John and Laura Morse were living in Brooks County, Georgia.  Laura (Olliff) Morse died on March 20, 1940 and John Evers Morse died on November 19, 1948.  Both were buried in the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery located between Quitman and Valdosta, Georgia.

MINNIE LEE MORSE (1.3.4.3.1) is the daughter of John Evers Morse and Laura Frances (Olliff) Morse.  Minnie was born on December 3, 1877 in Brooks County, Georgia.  On October 25, 1896, Minnie Morse married Alfonzo Wills Belcher in Brooks County, Georgia.  Alfonzo was born on August 6, 1867 in Georgia.  Alfonzo and Minnie Belcher were the parents of nine children:

From 1900 to 1910, Alfonzo and Minnie Belcher were living in Brooks County, Georgia.  Alfonzo and Minnie Belcher settled in Clewiston, Florida.  Alfonzo Belcher died on April 24, 1941.  In 1966, Minnie (Morse) Belcher was living with her daughter, Naomi, in Clewiston, Florida.  Minnie (Morse) Belcher died on September 11, 1976 in Plant City, Florida and was buried in Plant City, Florida.  On September 23, 1924, John Belcher married Pearl Tatum and they have three children:  -  John Bernard Belcher, Jr., b. May 23, 1929,  -  Donald Gene Belcher, b. January 19, 1935,  -  Lamar Belcher, b. December 11, 1943.  John B. Belcher died on May 19, 1979 in Plant City, Florida.

On April 1, 1955, Douglas Belcher married Emma Walker and they had no children.  In 1965, Douglas Belcher was living in Tampa, Florida.  Douglas Belcher died in September, 1981 in Tampa, Florida.  In June of 1930, Willis “Hill” Belcher married Agnes Bryan and they have two children:  -  Bryan Belcher, b. July 3, 1931,  -  Daughter (name unknown).  In 1965, Hill Belcher was living in Orlando, Florida.  Hill Belcher died on June 23, 1995 in Orlando, Florida.  Bryan Belcher is the father of one son, b. 1959, and one daughter, b. 1965.  On July 29, 1928, Carrie Belcher married Rufus Ruis.  In 1965, Carrie (Belcher) Ruis was living in Plant City, Florida.  On June 13, 1965, Carrie married a second time to Fred Harwell and they had no children.

On February 14, 1941, Laura Belcher married Robert Taylor and they had two children:  -  Robert Taylor, Jr., b. July 5, 1943,  -  Milinda Sue Taylor, b. February 23, 1945.  In 1965, Laura (Belcher) Taylor was living in Orlando, Florida.  Robert Taylor, Sr. died prior to 1971.  In October of 1960, Milinda Taylor married Robert Corly and they have two children:  -  Son, b. August 12, 1962,  -  Lewis Scott Corly, b. June 3, 1964.  Charles Belcher married Flossie Furney and they had two children:  -  Carol Belcher (adopted), b. January 18, 1947,  -  Charles Rex Belcher, b. October 15, 1948.  Charles and Flossie Belcher lived in Plant City, Florida.  Charles A. Belcher died on January 28, 1965.  On June 6, 1964, Carol Belcher married Clayron Tison.  On November 5, 1935, Calvin Belcher married Alma Simmons and they have three children:  -  Don Peyton Belcher,  -  Sylvia Belcher,  -  Vernessa Belcher, b. April 18, 1947.  In 1965, Calvin Belcher was living in Plant City, Florida.  On May 1, 1965, Sylvia Belcher married Robert K. Ownby.

NAOMI LEE BELCHER (1.3.4.3.1.1) is the daughter of Alfonzo Wills Belcher and Minnie Lee (Morse) Belcher.  Naomi was born on November 2, 1897 in Brooks County, Georgia.  On June 2, 1918, Naomi Belcher married Simon Peter Slonaker (born August 6, 1879) and they were the parents of four children:

Simon Peter Slonaker died on July 7, 1960.  In 1965, Naomi (Belcher) Slonaker was living in Clewiston, Florida.  Naomi (Belcher) Slonaker died on June 6, 1984 in Clewiston, Florida.  Florence Slonaker married Manning Keen and they have one son:  -  Richard Keen, b. December 10, 1944.  Felix Slonaker married Grace Roscoe and married a second time to Wilma Lou Wagner.  Felix Slonaker is the father of two children:  -  Phylis Ann Slonaker, b. March 29, 1958,  -  Ramona Sue Slonaker, b. August 28, 1964.  In 1952, Paul Slonaker married Elizabeth Pope and they have two children:  -  Cinthy Lee Slonaker, b. FRANKLIN PIERCE BELCHER (1.3.4.3.1.2) is the son of Alfonzo Wills Belcher and Minnie Lee (Morse) Belcher.  Frank was born on November 6, 1899 in Brooks County, Georgia.  On May 6, 1923, Frank Belcher married May Strawder in Brooks County, Georgia.  Frank and May Belcher are the parents of seven children:

CHARLES EVERS MORSE (1.3.4.3.2) is the son of John Evers Morse and Laura Frances (Olliff) Morse.  Charles was born on December 27, 1879 in Georgia.  On September 9, 1900, Charles Morse married Minnie V. Ingram (born 1876 in Georgia) in Brooks County, Georgia.  Charles and Minnie Morse were the parents of five children:

MARY E. OLLIFF (1.3.4.5) is the daughter of Allen Zadock Olliff and Elizabeth Forsythe (Williams) Olliff.  Mary was born on September 24, 1863 in Brooks County, Georgia.  On December 22, 1891, Mary Olliff married Andrew Treadaway (born September 7, 1844 in South Carolina) in Brooks County, Georgia.  Andrew was previously married to Mary Olliff’s cousin, Susan Folsom (1.3.7.1), who had died.  Andrew and Mary Treadaway were the parents of four children:

   Clayton O. Treadaway, b. April 20, 1893, Brooks County, Georgia
   Leonard Linton Treadaway, b. June 10, 1895, Brooks County, Georgia
   Hiram Treadaway, b. October, 1898, Brooks County, Georgia

From 1900 to 1910, Andrew and Mary Treadaway were living in Brooks County, Georgia.  Andrew Treadaway died on January 28, 1921 and Mary (Olliff) Treadaway died of cancer on June 19, 1927.  Both were buried at the Concord Cemetery between Quitman and Mowen, Georgia.  On November 7, 1915, Clayton Treadaway married Lola Miller.  Clayton and Lola Treadaway had four children:  -  Lois Treadaway, b. O’Neill and they have two children:  -  Johnny O’Neill,  -  Terry O’Neill.  In 1965, Helen (Treadaway) O’Neill was living in Arlington, Virginia.  John and Helen O’Neill worked at the Pentagon in Washington, District of Columbia.  H. M. Treadaway married Louise Vonier and they have two children:  -  Cheryl Ann Treadaway,  -  Gary Lamar Treadaway.  In 1965, H. M. Treadaway was living in Atlanta, Georgia.  Jack Treadaway married Leona Lewis and they had two children:  -  Clayton Treadaway,  -  Lola Treadaway.  Jack Treadaway died in a car/train wreck at a railroad crossing on January 28, 1948.  After Jack Treadaway died, Leona married a second time to Russell Frances and Russell adopted Clayton and Lola and their last names were changed to Russell.  In 1965, Leona (Lewis) Russell was living in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.  Clayton (Leona’s son) is in the submarine division of the Navy.

On January 26, 1918, Linton Treadaway married Julia Stephens in Brooks County, Georgia.  Linton and Julia Treadaway have five children:  -  Louise Treadaway,  -  Frances Treadaway,  -  Robert Treadaway,  -  Laura Mae Treadaway,  -  Marion Treadaway.  Linton Treadaway died on March 3, 1947 and was buried in the Concord Cemetery.  In 1965, Julia (Stephens) Treadaway was living in Valdosta, Georgia.  Louise Treadaway married a Mr. Radney.  In 1965, Louise (Treadaway) Radney was living in Valdosta, Georgia.  Frances Treadaway married a Mr. Cunningham.  In 1965, Frances (Treadaway) Cunningham was living in Valdosta, Georgia.  In 1965, Laura Mae Treadaway was living in Jacksonville, Florida.  In 1965, Marion Treadaway was living in Quitman, Georgia.  Hiram Treadaway went down with the ship Otranto off the coast of Ireland only one month before the end of World War I.  Irwin Treadaway died at the age ten on November 4, 1911 and was buried in the Concord Cemetery.
