Martha (Shelton) Davis died on December 29, 1905 in Franklin County, Tennessee and was buried there in the New Brick Church Cemetery. On December 31, 1907, Joseph Davis married a second time to Martha Mattie Emaline (Pedigo) Ladd (born March 8, 1871, Dekalb County, Tennessee) in Coffee County, Tennessee and they had no children. Mattie (Pedigo) Davis died on March 3, 1941 in Manchester, Tennessee and was buried in the Center Grove Cemetery near Center Grove, Tennessee. Joseph Van Davis died on September 18, 1960 in Prairie Plains, Tennessee and was buried next to his first wife, Martha (Shelton) Davis, in the New Brick Church Cemetery in Franklin County, Tennessee. In 1923, Van and Pearl Davis were living in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Van Davis never married. Van Davis disappeared around 1930 and his whereabouts after this time are not known.

DENNIS ROWLAND PEDIGO (1.5.3.4.1.4) is the son of James Monroe Pedigo and Martha Josephine (Davis) Pedgo. Dennis was born on January 5, 1921 in Coffee County, Tennessee. Dennis Pedigo was a private first class in the 509th Parachute Infantry during World War II and fought in the battles near Rome and Arno, Italy, southern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe. Dennis was decorated with the Bronze Star, Purple Heart with oak leaf cluster and many other decorations. Dennis Pedigo was a structural steel fitter and Mary (Lowry) Pedigo was a cost accountant. Mary (Lowry) Pedigo died on December 15, 1977 in Muncie, Indiana and Dennis Pedigo died on March 22, 1986 in Muncie, Indiana. Both were buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Maxville, Indiana.

Louise Wimberly married a Mr. Pinegar. Evelyn Wimberly married a Mr. Pinegar. Bonnie Wimberly married a Mr. Travis.

MATTHEW F. SHELTON (1.5.3.8) is the son of David Shelton and Mary (Phillips) Shelton. Matthew was born on August 28, 1877 in Jackson County, Alabama. On October 5, 1899, Matthew Shelton married Rosa A. Davis in Franklin County, Tennessee. Rosa was born on July 15, 1881 in Alabama and is the daughter of William G. C. Davis and America Josephine (McFarland) Davis. Rosas brother, Joseph Van Davis, married Matthews sister, Martha Shelton. Matthew and Rosa Shelton were the parents of seven children:
