MARY PACE (15.3) is the daughter of William Pace and Elizabeth (Wininger) Pace.  Mary was born in 1820 in Scott County, Virginia.  Mary Pace married Hosea Farmer Hall.  Hosea was born in 1820 in Tennessee and is the son of Thomas Hall (born 1780 in North Carolina) and Nancy Hall (born 1780 in North Carolina).  Hosea’s brother, Manoah Hall, married Mary’s sister, Catherine Pace (15.5).  Hosea and Mary Hall were the parents of at least eight children:

From 1850 to 1860, Hosea and Mary Hall were living in Jackson County, Alabama.  Hosea Hall was a farmer and also had a large blacksmith shop.  Mary (Pace) Hall died in 1866 in Jackson County, Alabama.  In 1880, Hosea Hall was living with his son, James, in Jackson County, Alabama.  Hosea Hall died on August 3, 1899 in Scottsboro, Alabama and was buried in the Pace Cemetery in Boxes Cove.  On November 9, 1862, Louisa Hall married Solomon Bellomy.  For additional information on the descendants of Solomon and Louisa Bellomy, see the sketch of Solomon Bellomy (32.6.2).  In 1860, Nancy Hall was living with her parents in Jackson County, Alabama.  Some descendants believe that Nancy Hall died young.

CYNTHIA HALL (15.3.2) is the daughter of Hosea Farmer Hall and Mary (Pace) Hall.  Cynthia was born on November 10, 1843 in Alabama.  On February 16, 1865, Cynthia Hall married Samuel Green Skelton.  Sam was born on May 28, 1840 in Jackson County, Alabama and is the son of John Odis Skelton and Elizabeth Skelton.  Sam and Cynthia Skelton were the parents of at least seven children:

Skelton died in June 29, 1919 and was buried in the Pace Cemetery.  Cynthia Skelton married a Mr. Buchanan and they had one child:  -  Milt Buchanan.

SAMUEL DUGGAN SKELTON (15.3.2.6) is the son of Samuel Green Skelton and Cynthia (Hall) Skelton.  Samuel was born on October 24, 1881 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On January 12, 1916, Samuel Skelton married Eliza Jane Latham (15.12.1.2).  Eliza was born on March 1, 1886 in Alabama and is the daughter of Henry Latham and Mary Malinda (Pace) Latham.  Samuel and Mary Skelton were the parents of three children:

In 1920, Samuel and “Jane” Skelton were living in Jackson County, Alabama.  Samuel D. Skelton died on January 27, 1957 and and Eliza (Latham) Skelton died on October 4, 1984.  Both were buried in the Pace Cemetery near Larkinsville, Alabama.  Mary Skelton married a Mr. Precise.  David Skelton married Beulah Selby (1.7.3.4.1.1).

LOGAN BERRY SKELTON (15.3.2.7) is the son of Samuel Green Skelton and Cynthia (Hall) Skelton.  Logan was born on March 27, 1884 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On December 28, 1905, Logan Skelton married Mary Annis Shelton (1.5.2.2.2) in Woodville, Alabama.  Mary was born on November 29, 1885 in Alabama and is the daughter of John Lewis Shelton and Harriet (Latham) Shelton.  Logan and Mary Skelton were the parents of eight children:

In 1910, Logan and Mary Skelton were living with Logan’s father, Samuel Skelton, in Jackson County, Alabama.  In 1920, Logan and “Annie” Skelton were living in Jackson County, Alabama.  In 1920, Annie’s mother, Harriet (Latham) Shelton, were living with Logan and Annie Skelton.  Mary (Shelton) Skelton died on December 18, 1959 and Logan B. Skelton died on December 11, 1968.  Both were buried in the Union Cemetery near Woodville, Alabama.  On March 23, 1934, Hugh Skelton married Vennetta Gertrude Page (born April 9, 1912) in Woodville, Alabama.  Hugh Skelton had no children.  Vennetta (Page) Skelton died on February 25, 1984 and Hugh Skelton died on November 6, 1985.  Nellie Lou Skelton married Dewey Delbert Cameron (born October 8, 1906).  Dewey Cameron died on August 18, 1983.  Ernest Fermen Skelton died as an infant in 1911.

Irene Skelton married Aubrey Clifton Cameron.  Irene’s sister, Nellie, married Aubrey’s brother, Dewey Cameron.  Aubrey Cameron died on September 7, 1950.  Ruby Skelton married Linden Roy Kennamer (born October 9, 1912) and they had one daughter.  Linden Kennamer died on August 12, 1978.  Pluma Skelton married Howard Bradford Thomas (born September 17, 1919) and they had no children.  Howard Thomas died on January 24, 1976.  On February 19, 1947, Lucille Skelton married William Robert “Bob” Collins (born October 1, 1924).  Bob Collins was the sheriff of Jackson County, Alabama for many years and Lucille worked in the Courthouse for twenty years.  Bob and Lucille Collins have one daughter and live in Scottsboro, Alabama.  Laura Skelton is a retired school teacher and lives in Woodville, Alabama.

(Hall) Sharp.  Joel was born on March 14, 1878 in Fort Payne, Alabama.  On August 4, 1898, Joel Sharp married Bertha Cunningham in Dekalb County, Alabama.  Bertha is the daughter of Elizabeth Cunningham.  Joel and Bertha Sharp were the parents of eleven children:

WILLIAM HALL (15.3.5) is the son of Hosea Farmer Hall and Mary (Pace) Hall.  William was born in 1852 in Larkinsville, Alabama.  William Hall married Cynthia E. Manning.  Cynthia is the daughter of Moses Manning and Elizabeth (Woosley) Manning.  Cynthia’s sister, Mary Jane Manning, married William’s brother, James Farmer Hall (15.3.7).  William and Cynthia Hall lived in Jackson County, Alabama where he was a teacher.  William and Cynthia Hall were the parents of two children:

  Molly Hall, b. 1872, Alabama
  Miles Emerson Hall (15.3.5.2), b. May 22, 1877, Alabama

William Hall died in 1877 and was buried beside his daughter, Molly, in the Pace Cemetery in Boxes Cove.  In 1880, “Sintha” Hall was living with her son, Miles, in Jackson County, Alabama.  Cynthia married a second time to a Mr. Sims.  Cynthia (Manning) Sims was buried in the Blue Spring Cove Cemetery near Larkinsville, Alabama.  Molly Hall died as a young child.

MILES EMERSON HALL (15.3.5.2) is the son of William Hall and Cynthia (Manning) Hall.  Miles was born on May 22, 1877 in Alabama.  On March 3, 1905, Miles Hall married Emma Branum (born February 7, 1886).  Miles and Emma Hall lived in Huntsville, Alabama.  Miles and Emma Hall have two daughters:

Miles was a car inspector with the Southern Railway.  Miles Hall died on November 6, 1942 in Huntsville, Alabama and was buried there.  Laura Hall married Marion Benjamin Donaldson.  Marion Donaldson, Sr. worked for Southern Railway.  Marion and Laura Donaldson were the parents of three children:  -  Marion B. Donaldson, Jr., b. August 25, 1923,  -  Joe Billy Donaldson, b. March 2, 1924,  -  Nancy Glenn Donaldson, b. October 23, 1932.  Laura married a second time to Prieste Frank and resides in Houston, Mississippi.  Marion Donaldson, Jr. lived in Columbus, Georgia and died there in 1968.  Joe Billy Donaldson lives in Dallas, Texas where Joe is in the retail car sales business.  Nancy Donaldson also lives in Dallas where she is in real estate business.

Louise Hall married “Ace” Floyd Johnson and they were the parents of at least three children:  -  Robert Gary Johnson,  -  Sandra Coy Johnson,  -  Edward Hall Johnson.  Louise (Hall) Johnson resides in Jackson, Mississippi.  Robert Johnson resides in Lynchburg, Virginia, Sandra resides in Jackson, Mississippi and Edward Johnson resides in New Orleans, Louisiana.

THOMAS CALVIN HALL (15.3.6) is the son of Hosea Farmer Hall and Mary (Pace) Hall.  Thomas was born in January of 1854 in Jackson County, Alabama.  On May 25, 1871, Thomas Hall married Eliza Jane Berry in Jackson County, Alabama.  Eliza was born in December of 1855 in Alabama and is the daughter of William L. Berry and Catherine Berry.  Thomas and Eliza Hall were the parents of eight children:

HELEN HALL (15.3.7.1.5) is the daughter of John Farmer Hall and Elizabeth (Buchanan) Hall.  Helen was born in 1917 in Jennings, Oklahoma.  Helen Hall married Clyde William McAninch (born 1914).  Clyde and Helen McAninch are the parents of two children:

  Clyde Dawson McAninch, b. January 30, 1940
  Mary Ann McAninch, b. December 1, 1945

Clyde and Helen McAninch resided at Jennings, Oklahoma and now reside at Enid, Oklahoma.  Clyde D. McAninch married Ladonna Stephens and they have two children:  -  Angela Denise McAninch, b. 1965,  -  Stephen Scott McAninch, b. 1969.  Angela McAninch married Patrick Dose.  Angela married a second time to a Mr. Bumgarner and they have one son:  -  Mathew Conrad Bumgarner, b. 1992.  Mary Ann McAninch married James Bruce McCandless and they have two children:  -  William James McCandless, b. 1968,  -  Anne McCandless, b. 1978.

HAL CLYDE HALL (15.3.7.1.6) is the son of John Farmer Hall and Elizabeth (Buchanan) Hall.  Hal was born in 1920 in Jennings, Oklahoma.  Hal Hall married Juanita Eberhart (born 1922).  Hal and Juanita Hall are the parents of three children:

  Daniel Wayne Hall, b. December 19, 1944
  Tina Louise Hall, b. December 19, 1961

Hal and Juanita Hall reside at Lake Saint Louis, Missouri.  Floyd Hall married Annette E. Giordano (born 1941) and they have three children:  -  Christopher Stanley Hall, b. 1966,  -  Anita Elizabeth Hall, b. 1969,  -  Jason Patrick Hall, b. 1971.  Anita Hall married Thomas Shelton.  Jason Hall married Lisa Ann Cox (born 1971).

Daniel Hall married Linda Eleanor Durazio (born 1946) and they have three children:  -  Jennifer Lynn Hall, b. 1969,  -  Erica Lynn Hall, b. 1972,  -  Aaron Daniel Hall, b. 1973.  Jennifer Hall married Brian Joseph Denne (born 1966).  Tina Hall married Walter Ehman, III and they have two children:  -  Melissa Marie Ehman,  -  Andrew Hal Ehman, b. 1991.

McDONALD HALL (15.3.7.2) is the son of James Farmer Hall and Mary Jane (Manning) Hall.  McDonald was born on September 29, 1878 in Larkinsville, Alabama.  In 1900, McDonald was living with his brother, John Farmer Hall, in Jackson County, Alabama.  In 1900, McDonald Hall married Julia Elizabeth Bynum (15.1.3.8).  Julia was born on July 16, 1878 in Jackson County, Alabama and is the daughter of Isaac Newton Bynum and Cynthia (Potter) Bynum.  In 1903, McDonald and Julia Hall moved to Indianola, Indian Territory.  McDonald and Julia Hall were the parents of one daughter:

McDonald Hall died on March 15, 1925 in Indianola, Oklahoma and was buried there.  Julia later moved to Houston, Texas and was buried there at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.  Alta Hall married Guy Clark and lived in southern Oklahoma.  Guy and Alta Clark had three daughters:  -  Rosemary Mac Clark, b. November 9, 1926,  -  Jacqualyn Marie Clark, b. April 19, 1931,  -  Charlyn Marion Clark, b. October 14, 1933.  Alta moved with her mother to Houston, Texas and died there on April 14, 1981.  Alta was buried next to her mother at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

On September 3, 1960, Rosemary Clark married George Elton Mauk and they reside at Crosby, Texas.  George and Rosemary were in the printing business but have since retired.  On November 27, 1959, Jacqualyn Clark married Bobbie Wayne Eades.  On November 10, 1951, Charlyn Clark first married Joe Perkins.  On January 3, 1981, Charlyn Clark married a second time to Floyd Delony and they live at Crosby, Texas.

NICHOLAS DAWSON HALL (15.3.7.3) is the son of James Farmer Hall and Mary Jane (Manning) Hall.  Nicholas was born on November 27, 1880 in Larkinsville, Alabama.  On May 14, 1905, Nicholas Hall married Lillian Baker and they lived in Jackson County, Alabama.  Nicholas and Lillian Hall were the parents of at least three children:

  Infant, unnamed, b. February 20, 1906
  Nicholas Dawson Hall, Jr., b. January, 1907
  Edwin Butler Hall, b. April 4, 1924

Nicholas Hall started out as a teacher and resided in Jackson and Madison County, Alabama.  Nicholas was later employed by the Southern Railway for many years until his retirement.  He lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee during this time.  Nicholas Hall, Sr. died in 1979 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and was buried there next to his wife, Lillian.

On May 18, 1931, Dawson Hall, Jr. married Owene Phillips Lynch and they have two children:  -  Nicholas Dawson Hall, III, b. 1932,  -  Owene Hall, b. 1934.  Dawson Hall, Jr. is a retired lawyer.  Nicholas Hall, III lives in Atlanta, Georgia and has at least three children.  Owene Hall married Commander Lawrence K. Weber and they have five children.  Commander Weber retired from the United States Navy.  Lawrence and Owene Weber live in Jacksonville, Florida.  After retiring at Jacksonville, Florida, Owene became head of the English Department at St. Johns.  Owene retired from that position and is now working on her doctorate.  Edwin Butler Hall died on October 17, 1930 and was buried in the Boxes Cove Cemetery in Jackson County, Alabama.

ELLISON CAULEY HALL (15.3.7.4) is the son of James Farmer Hall and Mary Jane (Manning) Hall.  Ellison was born on January 22, 1882 in Larkinsville, Alabama.  On December 5, 1908, Ellison Hall married Rebecca Catherine Manning (1.7.3.5).  Rebecca was born on December 5, 1879 in Alabama and is the daughter of William Manning and Nancy Jane (Shelton) Manning.  Ellison and Rebecca Hall were the parents of one daughter:

  Mary Inez Hall, b. May 17, 1919, Alabama

From 1910 to 1920, Ellison and Rebecca Hall were living in Jackson County, Alabama.  Ellison Hall farmed in the Boxes Cove area and purchased part of the estate of James Farmer Hall when he died.  Rebecca (Manning) Hall died on July 26, 1956 and Ellison Hall died on September 11, 1972.  Both were buried in the Boxes Cove Cemetery.  On June 7, 1939, Mary “Inez” Hall married James Boyd Austin.  James and Inez Austin have one son:  -  Robert Calley Austin.  Robert Austin lives in the Wininger-Fletcher community and works in Huntsville, Alabama as a computer technician.  Robert Austin married Cathy Joan Gerbige and they have two daughters:  -  Tammy Renee Austin,  -  Tracie Regina Austin.
