Newsome (born September 19, 1860 in Georgia) in Bulloch County, Georgia.  James and Mary Newsome were the parents of at least twelve children:

Chester.  Lottie was born on March 6, 1915 and is the daughter of Taylor Chester and Inez (Allen) Chester.  James and Lottie Kingery were the parents of two chidren:

Riggs died on May 19, 1940 and was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.  On December 23, 1923, Lester Wilson married Lillian Waters.  Lillian was born on October 10, 1905 and is the daughter of K. LESTER OLLIFF (1.4.6.9.3) is the son of Reuben Frank Olliff and Hannah (Waters) Olliff.  Lester was born in 1901 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On December 24, 1924, Lester Olliff married Janie Iler in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Janie was born on February 10, 1902 and is the daughter of John D. Iler and Mary Ann (Denmark) Olliff.  Lester and Janie Olliff were the parents of seven children:

Janie (Iler) Olliff died in March of 1984.  Thomas Olliff married Jincie Kennedy.  Jincie is the daughter of Eli Kennedy and Sula (Waters) Kennedy.  Thomas and Jincie Olliff had eleven children:  -  Dolores Olliff (twin), b. July 7, 1945,  -  Derita Olliff (twin), b. July 7, 1945,  -  Tommie Olliff, b. February 10, 1950,  -  Terrell Olliff, b. May 20, 1951,  -  Renee Olliff, b. December 28th,  -  Cindy Olliff, b. June 21, 1959,  -  Greg Olliff, b. December 9, 1960,  -  Karen Olliff, b. September 26, 1963,  -  Phillip Brian Olliff, b. December 3, 1965,  -  Kevin Olliff, b. October 15, 1970,  -  David Olliff, b. October 8th.

Dolores Olliff married Cary Taylor and they have one daughter:  -  Courtney Taylor.  Derita Olliff married Lemuel Frankie Smith and they have two children:  -  Sherry Allison Smith,  -  Angela Lee Smith.  Tommie Olliff married Martha Nease and they have two children:  -  Lisa Olliff,  -  Tina Olliff.  Terrell Olliff died at the age of twenty.  Renee Olliff married Jerry Rushing and they have two daughters:  -  Heather Rushing,  -  Haley Rushing.  Cindy Olliff married Breck Harville and they have two children:  -  Chad Lamar Harville,  -  Breck Jamieson Harville.  Greg Olliff married Libby West.  Karen Olliff married Michael Iler and they have one son:  -  Joshua Iler.  Phillip Olliff married Cary Scott and they have no children.  David Olliff died at the age of thirteen.

Mary Olliff never married and had no children.  She died at the age of forty-two.  Sarah Olliff married Elton Sims and they have five children:  -  Dennis Sims,  -  Rick Sims,  -  Randy Sims,  -  James Sims,  -  Amanda Sims.  Billy Olliff married Lawanna Forehand and they have two children:  -  Sharon Olliff,  -  Buddy Olliff.  Louise Olliff married N. A. Barnes and they have two children:  -  Allen Barnes,  -  Hugh Barnes.  Louise (Olliff) Barnes lives in Savannah, Georgia.  Benny Olliff never married and died in June of 1982.  Johnny Olliff married Shelby Jean Lewis and they have two children:  -  Stephen Olliff,  -  Sherry Olliff.

ADA J. OLLIFF (1.4.6.11) is the daughter of Franklin Olliff and Sarah Jane (Nevils) Olliff.  Ada was born on August 14, 1879 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On January 13, 1895, Ada Olliff married Frank David Fletcher in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Frank was born on December 4, 1876 in Georgia and is the son of M. V. Fletcher and Maggie Fletcher.  From 1900 to 1920, Frank and Ada Fletcher were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Frank and Ada Fletcher were the parents of two children:

  Sarah Josephine Fletcher, b. October, 1899, Bulloch County, Georgia
  John Inman Fletcher, b. November 13, 1904, Bulloch County, Georgia

Ada (Olliff) Fletcher died on July 4, 1940 and Frank D. Fletcher died on April 2, 1946.  Both were buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.  On December 20, 1921, Sarah Fletcher married Sam Harville in Bulloch County, Georgia.  John I. Fletcher died following an operation for appendicitis on May 9, 1923 and was buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Georgia.

ANNA OLLIFF (1.4.6.12) is the daughter of Franklin Olliff and Sarah Jane (Nevils) Olliff.  Anna was born on February 11, 1884 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On November 15, 1900, Anna Olliff married Roger E. Cason (born July 24, 1878 in Washington County, Georgia).  Roger and Anna Cason were the parents of six children:

From 1910 to 1920, Roger and Anna Cason were living in Bulloch County, Georgia.  Roger E. Cason died on March 15, 1937.  Roger O. Cason died as a teenager on February 8, 1919.  On October 11, 1922, Lucy Mae Cason married Doyce Jerimiah Dominy.  Doyce was born on December 5, 1902 and is the son of William Thomas Dominy and Elizabeth Sawyer (Brannen) Dominy.  Doyce and Lucy Dominy have one daughter:  -  Mildred Ruth Dominy, b. December 7, 1924.  Lucy (Cason) Dominy died on April 1, 1974 and Doyce Dominy died on March 27, 1989.  In October of 1949, Mildred Dominy married Leon Hubert Parrish (born September 21, 1919) and they have one son:  -  Leon Mark Parrish, b. January 19, 1956.  On September 9, 1979, Leon M. Parrish married Joyce Helen Tankersley (born April 23, 1961) and they have two children:  -  Christopher Mark Parrish, b. February 16, 1988,  -  Megan Elizabeth Parrish, b. April 12, 1990.

On November 8, 1933, Dorris Cason married Grace Hodges.  Grace is the daughter of Joseph Gordon Hodges and Lizzie (Kennedy) Hodges.  Dorris and Grace Cason had three children:  -  Ann Elizabeth Cason, b. September 26, 1937,  -  Robert Joseph “Bobby Joe” Cason, b. September 1, 1942,  -  Sue Ella Cason, b. October 19. 1947.  Dorris Cason died on September 4, 1982.  Ann Cason married Gordon A. Franklin, Jr. and they have three children:  -  Gordon A. “Gordy” Franklin, III, b. August 16, 1958,  -  Robert Dean “Rob” Franklin, b. October 4, 1959,  -  Cason Franklin.  On August 15, 1991, Gordy Franklin married Beverly Hart.  Rob Franklin married Marie Lanier and they have one son:  -  Robert Dean “Robby” Franklin, Jr., b. July 21, 1991.  Bobby Joe Cason married Jane Mitchell and they have three sons:  -  Robert Joseph Cason, Jr., b. August 22, 1973, d. August 2, 1981,  -  Mitchell Malone Cason, b. February 20, 1975,  -  John Robert Cason, b. May 5, 1986.  Sue Ella Cason married Perry Leonard Smith and they have three children:  -  Mathew Perry “Matt” Smith, b. September 20, 1973,  -  Michael Woodrow Smith, b. July 16, 1976,  -  Elizabeth Grace “Betsy” Smith, b. September 25, 1977.  Aubrey Cason died on July 22, 1977.  Carl A. Cason died as a child on February 1, 1919.

ANNA RUTH CASON (1.4.6.12.6) is the daughter of Roger E. Cason and Anna (Olliff) Cason.  Anna was born on May 18, 1917 in Bulloch County, Georgia.  On August 26, 1937, Anna Cason married John L. Akins.  John was born in October of 1915 and is the son of James Lester Akins and Annie Elizabeth (Kennedy) Akins.  John and Anna Akins were the parents of four sons:

  William A. Akins, b. July 28, 1946
  James E. Akins, b. July 28, 1946

On June 16, 1967, John R. Akins married Theresa Lanier and they have two daughters:  -  Debbie Akins, b. October 21, 1968,  -  Donna Akins, b. March 29, 1972.  In August of 1992, Debbie Akins married Bryan Monroe.  On May 16, 1992, Donna Akins married Charles McGarry.  In August of 1965, Carl O. Akins married Linda Woodard and they have two sons:  -  Carl Olliff Akins, Jr., b. January 31, 1968,  -  John Clinton Akins, b. January 25, 1970.  Carl and Linda Akins were divorced in July of 1974.  On December 21, 1990, Carl married a second time to Paula Jean De Vane Crockett.

On August 20, 1970, William “Billy” Akins married Janis Turner and they have no children.  On August 26, 1966, James “Jimmy” Akins married Nancy Fields and they have three children:  -  Cindy Akins, b. July 21, 1967,  -  James W. “Jim” Akins, b. April 3, 1969,  -  Jason F. Akins, b. December 26, 1970.  On June 14, 1987, Cindy Akins married Paul Bennett and they have one daughter:  -  Laura Michell Bennett, b. January 30, 1989.
