DOCK NAPOLEON McGAVOCK (2.1.4.8) is the son of Oscar Hugh McGavock and America Nancy (Bryan) McGavock.  Dock was born on August 17, 1860 in Tennessee.  In January of 1887, Dock McGavock married Willie Massie (born 1866) in Johnson County, Texas.  Dock and Willie McGavock were the parents of one daughter:

Willie (Massie) McGavock died at the birth of her daughter, Lula McGavock, in 1887.  On June 23, 1893, Dock McGavock married a second time to Pernetta Jane “Nettie” Weast in Chouteau, Oklahoma.  Nettie was born on January 12, 1876 in Boone County, Arkansas and is the daughter of John J. Weast and Nancy (Smart) Weast.  Dock and Nettie McGavock were the parents of eleven children:

In 1900, Dock and Nettie McGavock were living in Payne County, Oklahoma Territory.  In 1914, Dock and Nettie McGavock moved to Briscoe County, Texas.  In 1920, Dock and Nettie McGavock were living in Briscoe County, Texas.  Dock McGavock died on October 6, 1956 in Tulia, Texas and Nettie (Weast) McGavock died on April 13, 1975 in Tulia, Texas.  Lula McGavock died as a small child in 1888.  The child born to Dock and Nettie McGavock (born 1894) died in infancy.  Purchase McGavock died as a child on August 9, 1909 in Greer County, Oklahoma.  John McGavock married Opal Tillery.
