ANTHONY CASEY (8.1.6) is the son of Jesse E. Casey and Martha Patsy (Coe) Casey.  Anthony was born on December 29, 1826 in Morgan County, Tennessee.  On August 6, 1846, Anthony Casey married Sealy Self in Newton County, Arkansas.  Sealy was born on March 25, 1826 in Illinois and is the daughter of Levi Self and Elizabeth Self.  In 1850, Anthony and Sealy Casey were living in Newton County, Arkansas.  It is believed that Anthony Casey resided in Taney County, Missouri in 1858 (Anthony Casey purchased land from Willis Woodward in 1858 in Taney County, Missouri).  Anthony Casey returned to Newton County, Arkansas in 1862.  Anthony and Sealy Casey were the parents of at least seven children:

On September 2, 1863, Anthony and his brother, Jesse Clinton Casey, joined the Union Army, Company E of the Second Arkansas Infantry.  Anthony served until August 8, 1865.  While in the service, he was hospitalized for pneumonia and later for smallpox.  His personal description at the time of his enlistment was as follows:  height - five feet and eight inches;  complexion - light;  color of eyes - blue;  color of hair - dark;  occupation - farmer.  From 1870 to 1880, Anthony and Sealy Casey were living in Newton County, Arkansas.  Sealy (Self) Casey died on January 8, 1890.  In 1900, Anthony Casey and what appears to be a second wife, Louisa Casey (born on April 13, 1843 in Illinois), were living in Newton County, Arkansas.  Anthony Casey died on September 6, 1910 and Louisa Casey died on January 10, 1918.  Anthony, Sealy and Louisa were buried in the Buffalo Cemetery, located three miles northwest of Parthenon, Arkansas.  Martha Casey married John Hudson.  John was born on September 22, 1845 and is the son of Samuel Hudson and Nancy G. (Bellah) Hudson.  John Hudson’s brother, Allen Hudson, married Martha E. Casey’s sister, Mary Jane Casey.  John Hudson died on April 16, 1881 in Newton County, Arkansas and Martha (Casey) Hudson died on October 18, 1925 in Newton County, Arkansas.

JAMES MARION CASEY (8.1.6.2.1) is the son of William Uriah Casey and Mary Elizabeth (Carlton) Casey.  James was born on April 15, 1870 in Arkansas.  On August 1, 1888, James Casey married Elizabeth Jane White in Newton County, Arkansas.  Elizabeth was born on May 28, 1872 in Arkansas.  From 1900 to 1920, James and Elizabeth Casey were living in Newton County, Arkansas.  James and Elizabeth Casey were the parents at least ten children:

In 1929, Lattie and Martha Casey moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma.  In 1942, Lattie went to work for Mid-Continent Oil Company, later known as D-X Oil Company which later became Sun Oil Company.  Lattie worked there for twenty-one years.  Lattie Casey died on January 3, 1969 and Martha (Campbell) Casey died on May 2, 1990.  Both were buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Pauline Casey married a Mr. Brown.

LENDER OTIS CASEY (8.1.6.2.19) is the son of William Uriah Casey and Neppie Elizabeth (Henderson) Casey.  Lender was born on August 22, 1907 in Arkansas.  Lender worked in a grocery warehouse and drove a truck delivering lumber in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  In 1929, Lender Casey went to Shanghai, China with the United States Marines and was discharged in 1932.  He then dug wells, helped build houses and barns all over Newton County.  On September 28, 1950, Lender Casey married Odie (Murray) Robinson.  Odie had two children from a previous marriage.  Lender and Odie Casey were the parents of one daughter:

Odie (Murray) Casey died on October 2, 1968.

LAWRENCE CALVIN CASEY (8.1.6.2.20) is the son of William Uriah Casey and Neppie Elizabeth (Henderson) Casey.  Lawrence was born on June 21, 1909 in Parthenon, Arkansas.  On March 12, 1935, Lawarence Casey married Effie Cleona Martin.  Lawrence Casey was a farmer.  Lawrence and Effie Casey were the parents of four children:

LESTER ERMIT CASEY (8.1.6.2.21) is the son of William Uriah Casey and Neppie Elizabeth (Henderson) Casey.  Lester was born on December 26, 1911 in Parthenon, Arkansas.  On October 4, 1930, Lester Casey married Elva Maggie Henderson.  Lester farmed most of his life and also worked in the sawmill business.  He served as postmaster of the Wayton, Arkansas Post Office for twenty-nine years.  Lester and Elva Casey were the parents of seven children:

LOYAL WEBSTER CASEY (8.1.6.2.22) is the son of William Uriah Casey and Neppie Elizabeth (Henderson) Casey.  Loyal was born on February 26, 1914 in Parthenon, Arkansas.  Loyal was a logger, worked in a sawmill and hauled logs.  He later worked on a WPA road from Parthenon to Jasper, Arkansas, helping building bridges.  He later became a mail carrier for eight years and then worked for the Daisy Heddon Company for eight years.  On May 13, 1933, Loyal Casey married Euretta Volly Henderson (born August 16, 1916).  Loyal and Euretta Casey were the parents of three daughters:

  Patricia Sue Casey, b. May 7, 1940
  Judy Varnell Casey, b. July 30, 1947

Loyal Casey died on July 17, 1969 at Pea Ridge, Arkansas and was buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Garfield, Arkansas.

LEVI NEWTON CASEY (8.1.6.3) is the son of Anthony Casey and Sealy (Self) Casey.  Levi was born on April 17, 1851 in Arkansas.  On December 18, 1870, Levi Casey married Elizabeth V. Davis in Newton County, Arkansas.  Elizabeth was born on November 21, 1854 in Arkansas and is the daughter of Isham J. Davis and Sarah Davis.  In 1880, Levi amd Elizabeth Casey were living in Newton County, Arkansas.  In 1900, Levi and Elizabeth Casey were living in the Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory.  Levi and Elizabeth Casey were the parents of eleven children:

Martha Casey married George Buckholtz.  Martha (Casey) Buckholtz died on December 7, 1912.  On September 29, 1902, Mary Casey married Berry Casey.  Mary (Casey) Casey died on May 1, 1960.  Oliver Casey never married.  Oliver Casey died on April 15, 1969.  On October 30, 1902, James Casey married Myrtle Shelton.  James Casey died on December 25, 1966.  Cora Casey married Elijah Beach.  Thursey Casey (female) married Quillie Parker.  Obedience Casey married Ray Purcer.  Obedience (Casey) Purcer died on September 24, 1972.  Nancy Casey married Richard Penicks.  Nancy (Casey) Penicks died on June 15, 1959.  George Casey never married.  George Casey died on July 18, 1946.  On April 22, 1917, Walter Casey married Levora Hames.  Walter Casey died on December 11, 1976.

Evert Casey died in 1911 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  On October 7, 1937, Ranson Casey married Ira Bell White.  Ranson Casey died on February 25, 1990 in Blanchard, Oklahoma and was buried there in the Blanchard Cemetery.  On September 30, 1933, Maudie Casey married Otis B. Lowrance.  Maudie (Casey) Lowrance died on March 7, 1987 in Dinuba, California and was buried there in the Smith Mt. Cemetery.

In 1910, Jesse and Emma Casey were living in Newton County, Tennessee.  Jesse J. Casey died on June 23, 1928 in Newton County, Arkansas and was buried there in the Buffalo Cemetery.  On February 11, 1909, Sealey Casey married Richard Thomas (born 1839) in Jasper, Arkansas.  Richard and Sealey Thomas had no children.  Sarah Casey died on January 14, 1900 and was buried in the Buffalo Cemtery in Newton County, Arkansas.  Zada ? Casey married Arthur Jones and they reside in Henrietta, Oklahoma.

On October 31, 1898, Arizona Casey married Richard Sweezy Brasel (born February 18, 1876, Fort Douglas, Arkansas) and they lived in Coal Hill, Arkansas.  Richard and Zona Brasel had twelve children:  -  Velma Florence Brasel, b. (McPherson) Casey.  William was born on December 1, 1873 in Newton County, Arkansas.  On December 27, 1891, William Casey married Theoria King in Newton County, Arkansas.  On August 28, 1901, William Casey married a second time to Georgia A. Stevens (born 1878, Kentucky) in Newton County, Arkansas.  William A. Casey was the father of three children:

In 1920, William and Georgia Casey were living in Newton County, Arkansas.  William Casey died on April 19, 1942 in Newton County, Arkansas and was buried there in the Buffalo Cemetery.

(McPherson) Casey.  Osborn was born on September 26, 1884 in Parthenon, Arkansas.  On January 28, 1908, Osborn Casey married Gertrude M. Swain (born 1890 in Arkansas) in Jasper, Arkansas.  Osborn and Gertie Casey were the parents of nine children:

MARY JANE CASEY (8.1.6.5) is the daughter of Anthony Casey and Sealy (Self) Casey.  Mary was born on March 29, 1855 in Arkansas.  Mary Casey married Allen Hudson.  Allen was born on November 23, 1847 in Parthenon, Arkansas and is the son of Samuel Hudson and Nancy G. (Bellah) Hudson.  Allen Hudson’s brother, John Hudson, married Mary Jane Casey’s sister, Martha E. Casey.  Allen and Mary Hudson were the parents of five children:

Judea, Arkansas and Columbus Hudson died on May 4, 1957 in Mt. Judea, Arkansas.  Celetha Hudson died in 1965 in Springfield, Missouri.  On October 5, 1916, Ira Hudson married Martha Louvinia Holt in Newton County, Arkansas.  Martha was born in January, 1895 in Newton County, Arkansas and is the daughter of William Chester Holt and Louisa Caroline (Criner) Holt.

LEVI NEWTON CASEY (8.1.7) is the son of Jesse E. Casey and Martha Patsy (Coe) Casey.  Levi was born between around 1828 in Morgan County, Tennessee.  Levi Casey married Dedemiah Daniels (born 1827 in Tennessee).  Levi and his family were living in Newton County, Arkansas in 1850 and in Marion County, Arkansas in 1860.  Levi and Dedemiah Casey were the parents of at least six children:

MARTHA CASEY (8.1.9) is the daughter of Jesse E. Casey and Martha Patsy (Coe) Casey.  Martha was born in 1832 in Georgia (or possibly Missouri).  Both 1850 census records (she was enumerated twice) indicate that Martha was born in Georgia.  The 1860 census states that she was born in Missouri.  A Reminiscent History of the Ozark Region indicates that Martha Casey married Lewis Daniel.  Lewis was born around 1830 in Illinois.  From 1850 to 1870, Lewis and Martha Daniel lived in Newton County, Arkansas.  Lewis and Martha Daniel were the parents of at least ten children:
