LOUISE CHARLOTTE BRYAN (4.3) is the daughter of Finus Ewing Bryan and Caledonia Ann (Revere) Bryan.  Chat was born on March 19, 1864 in Maury County, Tennessee.  On March 20, 1881, Chat Bryan married Isaac Elkin Prosise.  Isaac was born on December 29, 1859 in Collin County, Texas and is the son of Henry Prosise and Nancy (Taylor) Prosise.  Henry Prosise was born around 1819 in Virginia and Nancy (Taylor) Prosise born around 1838 in Illinois.  In 1900, Isaac and Chat Prosise were living in Coleman County, Texas.  From 1910 to 1920, Isaac and Chat Prosise were living in Concho County, Texas.  Isaac and Chat Prosise were the parents of at least nine children:

NOLA LEE PROSISE (4.3.1) is the daughter of Isaac Elkin Prosise and Louise Charlotte (Bryan) Prosise.  Nola was born on October 3, 1888 in Hill County, Texas.  On November 26, 1905, Nola Prosise married Willie Asberry Burk in Eden, Texas.  They were married by J. B. Jones, Minister of the Church of  Christ.  Will was born on May 1, 1888 in Roswell, New Mexico and is the son of John Wesley Burk and Mary Annie (Williams) Burk.  Will Burk was a rancher.  Will and Nola Burk were the parents of seven children:

LILLIAN CELESTE BURK (4.3.1.1) is the daughter of Will Asberry Burk and Nola Lee (Prosise) Burk.  Lillian was born on October 13, 1906 near Eden, Texas.  Lillian graduated from Eden High School in 1925 and attended Abilene Christian College for one year.  In September of 1926, Lillian started teaching and was a teacher in Eden, Melvin and Menard schools for twenty-two years.  Lillian later attended Abilene Christian College again and Southwest Texas State Teacher’s College in San Marcos, Texas.  On September 15, 1940, Lillian Burk married Louie McKinney Tomlinson at her mother’s ranch home about four miles north of Eden, Texas.  Louie was born on December 12, 1904 near Fort McKavett, Texas and is the son of Wylie Randolph Tomlinson and Lillie (Patton) Tomlinson.  Louie and Lillian Tomlinson were the parents of three sons:

   George Lavon Tomlinson (4.3.1.1.2), b. August 25, 1942, San Angelo, Texas

Louie Tomlinson died on January 13, 1966 in Eden, Texas and was buried there in the Eden Cemetery.  Lillian (Burk) Tomlinson died on May 22, 1989.  On March 25, 1967, Johnny Tomlinson slipped and fell from the top of a house where he was working and broke his neck and part of his back.  Johnny spent many weeks in hospitals in San Antonio and Houston and attended his high school graduation in a wheel chair.  In September of 1967, he began walking again.  Johnny works in Eden, Texas for Ford parts and lives with his mother.

WILLIE LOUIS TOMLINSON (4.3.1.1.1) is the son of Louie McKinney Tomlinson and Lillian Celeste (Burk) Tomlinson.  Willie Tomlinson was born on July 8, 1941 in San Angelo, Texas.  Willie graduated from Eden High School in 1960 and attended Abliene Christian College for one semester.  On May 24, 1961, Willie Tomlinson married Betty Korrin Cox.  Willie and Betty Tomlinson were the parents of two children:

   Cheryl Willette Tomlinson, b. January 30, 1962
   Van Harlan Tomlinson, b. October 10, 1968

Willie and Betty Tomlinson were later divorced.  On December 5, 1970, Willie Tomlinson married a second time to Vivian Louise (Van Norman) Welch (born January 10, 1940).  Vivian had a son, Steve Welch Tomlinson (born November 18, 1959), by a previous marriage.  Willie and Vivian live in Angleton, Texas where Willie works for Dow Chemical.  Vivian works for Intermedics, Incorporated, a company that makes pacemakers for heart patients.  On August 17, 1979, Cheryl Tomlinson married Jesse Lynn Wood of Eden, Texas in San Angelo, Texas.  Jesse was born on November 7, 1958.  On February 28, 1984, Steve Welch Tomlinson married Jennifer Dyer.  Steve and Jennifer Tomlinson live in Angleton, Texas.

GEORGE LAVON TOMLINSON (4.3.1.1.2) is the son of Louie McKinney Tomlinson and Lillian Celeste (Burk) Tomlinson.  George was born on August 25, 1942 in San Angelo, Texas.  After finishing high school, George attended Abilene Christian College for one year.  On December 22, 1962, George Tomlinson married Linda Lou Robbins in the Eden, Texas.  The ceremony was performed by Linda’s uncle, a minister of the Church of Christ.  Linda was born on August 24, 1945.  George and Linda Tomlinson are the parents of three children:

ROBERT LEON BURK (4.3.1.2) is the son of Will Asberry Burk and Nola Lee (Prosise) Burk.  Leon was born on June 16, 1908 in Eden, Texas.  On December 20, 1936, Leon Burk married Lottie Pearl Kyzar in Eden Texas.  Lottie was born on August 17, 1913 in San Saba County, Texas.  Leon and Lottie Burk are the parents of two sons:

   Charles Joe Burk, b. October 22, 1940, San Angelo, Texas

Leon was a rancher and Lottie was a beautician.  Robert William Burk died on November 22, 1959 in Travis Air Force Base in California while in the Army and was buried in Eden, Texas.  On September 4, 1965, Charles Burk married Linda Kay Miller in San Jacinto Methodist Church, Amarillo, Texas.  Linda was born on March 19, 1943 and is the daughter of Marvin Miller and Melba Miller of Lubbock, Texas.

WESLEY ELKIN BURK (4.3.1.3) is the son of Will Asberry Burk and Nola Lee (Prosise) Burk.  Wesley was born on March 14, 1911 in Eden, Texas.  On December 15, 1935, Wesley Burk married Helen B. McCarley in Eden, Texas.  Helen was born on September 5, 1911 in Eden, Texas.  Wesley and Helen Burk are the parents of two children:

Wesley Burk was a rancher and Helen Burk was a rural mail carrier.  They lived in Eden, Texas.  Wesley Burk died November 7, 1973 and was buried in Eden, Texas.  On March 13, 1962, Billy Burk married Nancy Sue Vernor in Camp Wood, Texas.  Billy and Nancy were later divorced.  Billy and his second wife, Diann, were later divorced.  Billy married a third time to Marie Rice of Houston, Texas.  On December 21, 1957, Sammie Ann Burk married Elmer Lee Doss (born July 31, 1931) of Lubbock, Texas and they had one daughter:  -  Sammie Rhnee Doss, b. IMOGENE BURK (4.3.1.4) is the daughter of Will Asberry Burk and Nola Lee (Prosise) Burk.  Imogene was born on July 28, 1913 in Live Oak Community (near Eden), Texas.  On October 18, 1934, Imogene Burk married Lee Roy Pfluger.  Lee Roy was born on May 15, 1910 in Priddy, Texas.  Lee Roy and Imogene Pfluger are the parents of one daughter:

Lee Roy Pfluger was a rancher and Imogene was a LVN.  Imogene (Burk) Pfluger died in 1987.  On June 14, 1958, Glenda Pfluger married “Dusty” Driscoll Moore.  Dusty was born on July 30, 1936 in Snyder, Texas and is the son of Clarence Moore.  Dusty and Glenda Moore have three children:  -  Melody Michelle Moore, b. September 21, 1959, Snyder, Texas,  -  Monica Monique Moore, b. July 1, 1961, Snyder, Texas,  -  Mitchell Morgan Moore, b. March 8, 1968, Snyder, Texas.  Dusty Moore served as a Deacon in the Church of Christ and a board member for Cherokee Home for Children.  He was an automobile mechanics teacher at Brownwood, Texas.  Dusty Moore died of a heart attack on November 9, 1981 in Fort Worth, Texas and was buried in Snyder, Texas.  Glenda Moore lived in Brownwood, Texas where she taught school.  Glenda (Pfluger) Moore died on January 30, 1989.  Melody Moore is single and is working in Abilene, Texas.  Monique Moore is single and is working as a flight attendant for Continental Air Lines.  Mitchell “Mitch” Moore is in High School in Brownwood, Texas.

ORVAL LEE BURK (4.3.1.5) is the son of Will Asberry Burk and Nola Lee (Prosise) Burk.  Orval was born on November 10, 1915 in Eden, Texas.  On June 6, 1946, Orval Burk married Juanita Huddleston of Ballinger, Texas.  Orval and Juanita Burk are the parents of one daughter:

Orval Lee served in the United States Army.  He was a school teacher at Veribest, Texas and Ballinger, Texas.  Orval Burk died of a heart attack on April 11, 1984 in Ballinger, Texas.  On June 12, 1971, Telena Lea Burk married Tommy Lee Wright in Ballinger, Texas.  Tommy Lee and Telena Lea Wright are the parents of two children:  -  Tad Landon Wright, b. MARY LOUISE BURK (4.3.1.6) is the daughter of Will Asberry Burk and Nola Lee (Prosise) Burk.  Mary Louise was born on August 7, 1918 near Eldorado, Texas.  On July 4, 1938, Mary Burk married Millard Wade Anderson in the home of her parents, Will and Nola Burk.  Millard was born April 4, 1917 in Chickasha, Oklahoma and is the son of William West Anderson and Alice (Stone) Anderson.  Mary Louise and Millard Anderson are both members of the Church of Christ in Eden, Texas.  Millard and Mary Louise Anderson are the parents of one daughter:

   Mary Alice Anderson, b. January 27, 1948, Brady, Texas

Millard and Mary Anderson ran a clothing store for forty-three years.  On April 24, 1971, Mary Alice Anderson married Joe Foster Reagan.  Joe was born May 18, 1947 in Brownwood, Texas.  Joe and Mary Alice Reagan have three children:  -  Edward Ryan Reagan, b. Lee by A. C. Knight, a Church of Christ Minister.  Jack and Frances Lee lived in Clovis, New Mexico and then in Amarillo, Texas.  Nola Frances (Burk) Lee died on July 17, 1950 and was buried in Eden, Texas.

FINUS HENRY PROSISE (4.3.2) is the son of Isaac Elkin Prosise and Louise Charlotte (Bryan) Prosise.  Finis was born on May 21, 1891 in Concho County, Texas.  On April 28, 1912, Finis Prosise married Edna Nora Trott (born July 22, 1893) by Elder J. B. Jones in Eden, Texas.  Finis and Edna Prosise were the parents of six children:

September 20, 1938.  Elmer Prosise had a dairy near San Angelo, Texas.  He sold the dairy and moved near Houston, Texas.  Elmer Prosise died on May 13, 1981.  Billie Prosise married John Massingale and they have four daughters.  On June 25, 1938, Frances Prosise married Frank Billo in Eden, Texas.  Frank had three children by a previous marriage.  Frank and Frances Billo adopted one son:  -  Dail Gaffeney, b. December 9, 1954.  Frank and Frances Billo lived in Junction, Texas.  Frank Billo died on May 3, 1984.  Dail and his wife have a daughter born in 1984.

A. “Ed” Edwards (born October 24, 1925) in Winter, Texas.  Ed had three daughters by a previous marriage.  Ed and Ellen Edwards are the parents of three children:
