JOHN THOMAS PERKINS (2.6.6) is the son of John Wright Perkins and Martha (Brooks) Perkins.  John was born on September 27, 1827 in Georgia.  On December 21, 1848, John Perkins married Margaret Jane Streetman in Stewart County, Georgia.  Margaret was born on April 8, 1828 in Georgia and is the daughter of Amos L. Streetman and Sarah (Douglas) Streetman.  John and Margaret Perkins were the parents of eight children:

In 1850, John and Jane Perkins were living with Amos Streetman in Stewart County, Georgia.  In 1860, John and Margaret Perkins were living in Robertson County, Texas.  John Thomas Perkins served in Company B, First Regiment, 27th Brigade of the Texas State Troops, organized on August 7, 1863 at Willow Springs, Bell County, Texas.  John and Margaret Perkins lived in Shelby County, Texas and later near Owensville in Robertson County, Texas.  John Perkins died in Owensville, Texas and was buried there.  After John’s death, Margaret (Streetman) Perkins married a second time to C. D. Little.

JAMES ALBERT PERKINS (2.6.6.5) is the son of John Thomas Perkins and Margaret Jane (Streetman) Perkins.  James was born on December 10, 1855 in San Augustine, Texas.  On July 8, 1874, James Perkins married Mary Nicippi Lucinda Griffin at the home of Mary’s parents in Robertson County, Texas.  Mary was born on November 17, 1853 in Goodman, Mississippi and is the daughter of John Henry Griffin and Susanna Dorcas (Wallace) Griffin.  James and Mary Perkins were the parents of eight children:

In 1880, James and Mary Perkins were living in Robertson County, Texas.  In 1900, James and Mary Perkins were living in Milam County, Texas.  James Perkins, Sr. was a farmer, stockman, Plantation Manager and Texas Ranger.  James lived near Patroon in Shelby County, Texas and near Calvert in Robertson County, Texas.  James Perkins died on May 20, 1935 and Mary (Griffin) Perkins died in May of 1947.  Both died and were buried in Calvert, Robertson County, Texas.  James Perkins, Jr. and Ida Perkins both died young.  Annie Perkins married Barton Williams.  Leonard Perkins moved to California and had two children.

SUSANNA JANE RUSHING PERKINS (2.6.6.5.4) is the daughter of James Albert Perkins and Mary Nicippi Lucinda (Griffin) Perkins.  Susanna was born on November 6, 1882 in Patroon, Texas.  On December 23, 1906, Susanna Perkins married William Albert Holloman in Robertson County, Texas.  William was born on May 18, 1861 and is the son on William Wright Holloman and Missouri (Rogers) Holloman.  William was married two previous times.  William first married Lula Basham who died with their first child in childbirth.  William married a second time to Annette McMordie and they had four children:  Albert I. Hollomon (born 1897), Dudley R. Holloman (born 1899), Robert Norman Holloman (born 1902) and Louise Dee Holloman (born 1905).  After Annette’s death, Albert Dudley and Louise were raised by Annette’s parents and Norman remained with William and Susanna.  William and Susanna Holloman were the parents of four children:

   Mary Zula Holloman, b. November 19, 1910, Franklin, Texas
   Joseph Reid Holloman, b. December 8, 1912, Franklin, Texas

In 1910, William and Susanna Holloman were living in Robertson County, Texas.  William and Susanna Holloman lived in Normangee, Franklin and Calvert, Texas.  William Albert Holloman died on November 16, 1921 in Normangee, Texas and was buried there in the Rogers Prairie Cemetery.  Susanna (Perkins) Holloman died in May of 1968 in Del Rio, Texas and was buried there in the Del Rio Cemetery.  James Holloman married Pauline Gibbs and they had two daughters:  -  Peggy Holloman,  -  Mary Beth Holloman.  James Holloman and his second wife, Ruby Holloman, had one son:  -  James William Holloman, Jr.  James was a salesman and lived in Calvert, Franklin and Longview, Texas.

On June 16, 1928, Mary Holloman married Travis Bayless Mills in Bremond, Texas.  Travis was born on May 21, 1902 in Miller County, Arkansas and is the son of Albert Monroe Mills and Alice Minerva (Garrett) Mills.  Travis and Mary Mills had five children:  -  Albert Dennis Mills, b. 1929,  -  Lois Elizabeth Mills, b. February 9, 1931,  -  Travis Wayne Mills, b. July 6, 1932, Bagnell, Missouri,  -  Margaret Sue Mills, b. March 15, 1947,  -  Dana Robin Mills, b. August 2, 1951.  Albert Mills died young.  Lois Mills married D. P. Harris in Shreveport, Louisiana and they have one child and two grandchildren.  On August 18, 1951, Travis Mills married Anita Jane Coats in Wagoner, Oklahoma.  Anita was born on July 27, 1932 in Coal Hill, Arkansas and is the daughter of James Elam Coats and Estelle (Fry) Coats.  Travis and Anita Mills have two sons:  -  Travis James Mills, b. May 21, 1957,  -  Thomas Scott Mills, b. November 5, 1959.  Travis Wayne Mills has lived in Oklahoma as well as Shreveport, Lafayette and New Orleans, Louisiana.  Travis currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia and is a District Manager for Southern Bell Telephone Company.  Margaret Mills married Tom Collins in Bone Gap, Illinois.  Dana Mills married Joann Greene in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Travis Bayless Mills died on March 21, 1960 in Lacon, Illinois and was buried in the Rock Springs Cemetery in Genoa, Arkansas.  Joseph Holloman lived in Port Arthur and Calvert, Texas.  Coral Holloman married Robert Baker and lives in Del Rio, Texas.

AARON THOMAS PERKINS (2.6.6.6) is the son of John Thomas Perkins and Margaret Jane (Streetman) Perkins.  Aaron was born on December 6, 1859 in Cameron, Texas.  In 1884, Aaron Perkins married Mary Garner (Burton) Smith.  Molly was previously married to a Mr. Smith.  Molly was born in July, 1860 in Texas.  Aaron and Molly Perkins were the parents of seven children:

From 1900 to 1910, Aaron and Molly Perkins were living in Panola County, Texas.  Aaron Perkins was a physician and lived in Patroon and Carthage, Texas.  Aaron Perkins died in 1911 in Carthage, Texas and Mary (Burton) Perkins died in 1945 in Carthage, Texas.  Zuma Perkins married John Dewitt Furrh and they had three children:  -  John Dewitt Furrh, Jr.,  -  Aaron Furrh,  -  Zuma Le Gay Furrh, b. 1915.  Aaron Furrh died in 1946.  Zuma (Perkins) Furrh died in 1961 in Elysian Fields, Texas.  Hazel Perkins married Pat Burrow and they had two chidren:  -  Orline Burrow, b. 1911,  -  Zuma Turner Burrow, b. 1921.  Orline Burrow married a Mr. Woodward and Zuma Burrow married a Mr. Renaud.  Pat and Hazel Burrow lived in Longview and Fort Worth, Texas.  Hazel (Perkins) Burrow died in 1956 in Carthage, Texas.  Eunice Perkins married Shelton Wylie Boyce and they had two children:  -  Shelton Wylie Boyce, Jr., b. 1918,  -  Gloria Jean Boyce, b. 1926.  Shelton Boyce, Jr. died in 1969.  Gloria Boyce married a Mr. Glass.  Eunice (Perkins) Boyce died in 1962 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Beulah Perkins married Melvin Hood Shivers and they had one daughter:  -  June Perkins Shivers, b. 1916.  June Shivers married a Mr. Holloway.  Melvin and Beulah Shivers lived in Longview, Texas.  Beulah (Perkins) Shivers died on February 16, 1981.  Bernice Perkins married Phil C. Peters and they had two children:  -  Phil C. Peters, Jr., b. 1918,  -  Mary Malta Peters, b. 1921.  Mary Peters married a Mr. Bucher.  Bernice (Perkins) Peters lived in Denton and Carthage, Texas and Tampa, Florida.

TILLMAN PARCHET PERKINS (2.6.6.6.2) is the son of Aaron Thomas Perkins and Mary Garner (Burton) Perkins.  Tillman was born in 1887 in Texas.  Tillman Perkins and his first wife, Bessie Perkins, were the parents of three children:

   Enid Mignon Perkins, b. 1913
   Tillman Parchet Perkins, Jr., b. 1921

Tillman Perkins and his second wife, Betty Perkins, were the parents of one son:

   Richard Perkins

Tillman Perkins, Sr. lived in Longview, Texas and Plant City and Tampa, Florida.  Tillman Perkins died in 1943 in Florida.  Aaron Perkins and his wife, Celeste Perkins, had two children:  -  Beverly Perkins,  -  Michael D. Perkins.  Beverly Perkins married Bob Matzig, lives in Del Rio, Texas and has one son:  -  Lee Matzig.  Michael Perkins lives in Houston, Texas and has three sons:  -  Michael D. Perkins, Jr.,  -  Keith Thomas Perkins,  -  Aaron Todd Perkins.  Aaron Perkins died in 1962.  Enid Perkins married a Mr. Harper and they had two children:  -  Mignon Harper,  -  Marsha Harper.  Mignon Harper married James Bond in Baytown, Texas and they have two children:  -  James Bond, Jr.,  -  Molly Bond.  Marsha Harper lives in Baytown, Texas.  Enid (Perkins) Harper died in 1972.  Tillman Perkins, Jr. has two children:  -  Marc Perkins,  -  Pamela Perkins.  Marc Perkins and his wife, Laura Perkins, live in Midland, Texas.  Pamela Perkins married a Mr. Graves and has one child:  -  Kiley Graves.

BENJAMIN G. PERKINS (2.6.7) is the son of John Wright Perkins and Martha (Brooks) Perkins.  Ben was born in 1828 in Georgia.  On December 21, 1854, Ben Perkins married Elmira Cassandra Sherman in Stewart County, Georgia.  Cassandra was born in 1840 in Georgia and is the daughter of Robert Harrison Sherman and Martha Cannon (Lancaster) Sherman.  Ben and Cassandra Perkins were the parents of six children:

   Robert Perkins, b. 1857, Georgia
   Frances Perkins, b. 1859, Georgia
   Susan Perkins, b. 1862, Georgia
   John Perkins, b. 1867, Georgia
   James Perkins, b. 1871, Georgia
   Benjamin Perkins, b. 1874, Georgia

Ben Perkins was a farmer.  From 1860 to 1880, Ben and Cassandra Perkins lived in Stewart County, Georgia.  Ben and Cassandra Perkins later moved to Texas and many of their descendants live in Van Zandt County, Texas.

In 1860, Thomas and Eliza Perkins were living in Stewart County, Georgia.  Thomas W. Perkins was a farmer.  Thomas W. Perkins was killed during the Civil War on June 27, 1862 at Cold Harbor, Virginia and has a marker in the Providence Cemetery.  Thomas served in Company E of the 31st Georgia Infantry.  From 1870 to 1880, Eliza (Hammel) Perkins and her children were living in Stewart County, Georgia.  Eliza (Hammel) Perkins died on July 17, 1909.  In December of 1872, Abner Perkins married Mattie E. Williamson.  Mattie is the daughter of Thomas G. Williamson and Frances (Sherman) Williamson.  Frances Sherman’s sister, Cassandra, married Benjamin G. Perkins (2.6.7).  Abner Perkins died on September 22, 1878 and was buried in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Stewart County, Georgia.  In 1890, Mattie (Williamson) Perkins married a second time to Jordan Williamson Slaughter (2.5.2).  John Wright Perkins married Olive L. Middleton in Stewart County, Georgia.  In 1880, John and Olive Perkins were living in Stewart County, Georgia.  Charles Perkins married a Miss Hurley.  Tommie Perkins married a Mr. McDaniel and they had two daughters:  -  Emma McDaniel,  -  Fannie Mae McDaniel.  Tommie later married Price Waller and they had five children:  -  Hill Waller,  -  Morrell Waller,  -  Lila Waller,  -  Mary Waller,  -  Price Waller, Jr.  Price Waller is the son of Riley Hill Waller and Frances (Perkins) Waller (2.6.4).

McRee.  John was born on December 8, 1854 and is the son of William J. McRee and Mary Ann (Sims) McRee.  John was previously married to Martha Perkins’ first cousin, Martha Susan Waller, daughter of Frances (Perkins) Waller (2.6.4).  John and Martha McRee were the parents of at least six children:

June 24, 1944,  -  Paula Lee McRee, b. June 25, 1946,  -  Riley Cris McRee, b. June 29, 1949.  Claudia McRee married Everett Copeland and they had one son:  -  Clay McRee Copeland.  Paula McRee married Ralph Cannon and they had two children:  -  Jane Kelly Cannon, b. October 2, 1969,  -  Ralph Jay Cannon, b. March 5, 1972.  Riley Cris McRee and his wife, Amanda McRee, had one son:  -  Riley Anthony McRee, b. January 26, 1974.  On December 24, 1907, Berta McRee married Wilbur Whitaker.  Wilbur was born on January 27, 1884 and is the son of Elim Whitaker and Samantha Whitaker of Quitman County, Georgia.  Wilbur and Berta Whitaker had two children:  -  Bertha Whitaker, b. November 21, 1909,  -  John Elim Whitaker, b. April 9, 1911.  On October 25, 1929, Berta married a second time to J. L. Barbaree and they had one son who died one day after he was born.  Ula McRee never married.  On November 12, 1911, Mattie McRee married Riley W. Jennings and they had five children:  -  William Perkins Jennings, b. August 24, 1912,  -  Guy Chapel Jennings, b. June 10, 1914,  -  Mildred C. Jennings, b. July 13, 1916,  -  Riley Claude Jennings, b. March 8, 1921,  -  Nancy Jennings, b. April 12, 1925.  Riley W. Jennings died on June 12, 1926.  Alice McRee married Lucis E. Strickland, son of J. R. Strickland and C. A. Strickland, and they had two children:  -  Infant Son, b. November 30, 1912 and died December 1, 1912,  -  Melvin E. Strickland, b. August 8, 1916.  Lucis Strickland died on January 20, 1919.  On May 27, 1933, Alice (McRee) Strickland married a second time to William Marshall Dennard in Colquitt, Georgia.

MARY EDNA MCREE (2.6.8.4.6) is the daughter of John G. McRee and Martha J. (Perkins) McRee.  Mary was born on August 26, 1895.  Mary Edna McRee married Henry Jackson Williams (born September 25, 1889) and they were the parents of three children:

   Martha Ann Williams, b. July 19, 1927

Henry Williams, Sr. died on August 24, 1929.  Henry Williams, Jr. died on the day that he was born, November 9, 1921.  On December 29, 1944, John Williams married Vivian Settles and they had two children:  -  Robert Williams, b. November 17, 1946,  -  Debbie Williams, b. July 25, 1949.  On May 14, 1946, Martha Williams married Edgar A. Kemp (born March 2, 1923) and they had two children:  -  Tanna Kemp, b. April 12, 1947,  -  Carliese Kemp, b. August 11, 1957.  Tanna Kemp married Jerry Lee and they have two children:  -  Infant Son, b. April 30, 1970 and d. April 30, 1970,  -  Lady Lee, b. ABNER FLETCHER PERKINS (2.6.9) is the son of John Wright Perkins and Martha (Brooks) Perkins.  Abner was born on April 6, 1836 in Georgia.  On September 4, 1856, Abner Perkins married Elizabeth Ann Adams in Stewart County, Georgia.  Betsy was born on June 12, 1840 in Georgia and is the daughter of Robert Sloan Adams and Betsey Ann (Mizell) Adams.  Abner and Betsey Perkins were the parents of at least eight children:

MARTHA PERKINS (2.6.9.1) is the daughter of Abner Fletcher Perkins and Elizabeth Ann (Adams) Perkins.  Mattie was born on September 15, 1857 in Stewart County, Georgia.  On January 22, 1880, Mattie Perkins married Samuel Walton Worthington.  Samuel was born on December 23, 1845 in Stewart County, Georgia and is the son of Richard Worthington and Penelope (Abbott) Worthington.  Samuel’s brother, William, married Ella Perkins, daughter of Isham Perkins (2.6.5).  Samuel had previously married Levanda V. Adams on October 5, 1869 and they had two children:  Bulah Worthington (born March, 1870) and name unknown.  Levanda died on January 3, 1874.  Samuel and Mattie Worthington were the parents of six children:

Samuel Worthington, Sr. served in Company I, Second Regiment of the Georgia Volunteers during the Civil War.  Samuel Worthington, Sr. died on November 2, 1892 and was buried in the Providence Cemetery in Stewart County, Georgia.  In 1910, Martha (Perkins) Worthington was living with her son, Gordon Worthington, in Stewart County, Georgia.  Martha (Perkins) Worthington died on October 26, 1939 and was buried in the Lumpkin Cemetery in Stewart County, Georgia.  Allie Worthington died on September 2, 1882.  Annie Worthington died on May 20, 1951.  In November of 1914, Nestor Worthington married Johnnie May Waller and they had four children:  -  Eugene Worthington, b. November, 1915,  -  Margaret Worthington, b. October, 1919,  -  Ann May Worthington, b. 1923,  -  Macy Queen Worthington, b. October, 1928.  On August 29, 1936, Margaret Worthington married Frank Ivey.  In November of 1910, Pearl Worthington married Robert Glenn Kite and they had four children:  -  Chester Kite, b. 1913,  -  Lillian Kite, b. December, 1914,  -  Paul Walton Kite, b. July 12, 1918,  -  Julia Kite, b. JEFFERSON B. PERKINS (2.6.9.3) is the son of Abner Fletcher Perkins and Elizabeth Ann (Adams) Perkins.  Jefferson was born on November 11, 1861 in Stewart County, Georgia.  On July 17, 1890, Jefferson Perkins married Susie L. Cherry (born January 8, 1871 in Georgia) and they were the parents of six children:

   Floyd Toombs Perkins, b. December 2, 1893, Georgia
   Susie A. Perkins, b. April, 1896, Georgia
   Mary E. Perkins, b. July, 1897, Georgia

In 1910, Jefferson and Susie Perkins were living in Stewart County, Geogia.  Jefferson Perkins died on September 18, 1936 and was buried in the Lumpkin Cemetery in Stewart County, Georgia.  Susie (Cherry) Perkins died on January 27, 1949 and was also buried in the Lumpkin Cemetery.  On January 10, 1915, Bradley Perkins married Mable Mae Barfield and they had three children:  -  D. Bradley Perkins, Jr., b. July 7, 1916,  -  Walter Leona Perkins, b. February 10, 1920,  -  Sarah Will Perkins, b. February 27, 1923.  Floyd Perkins married Annie Clem Robertson and they had two children:  -  Cherrie Perkins,  -  Marie Perkins.  Susie Perkins married a Mr. Marler.  They were residents of Montgomery and had no children.  Mary Perkins married James C. Kaigler.  James is the son of Benjamin Rice Kaigler and Susan Florence (Crumbley) Kaigler.  James and Mary Kaigler had two children:  -  James C. Kaigler, Jr.,  -  Jeff Perkins Kaigler.  Jeffie Perkins married Murphy Pearce.  They were residents of Columbus, Georgia and had one child.  Ruth Perkins married a Mr. Patterson and they were residents of Pine Mountain, Georgia.

GEORGE FOSTER PERKINS (2.6.9.4) is the son of Abner Fletcher Perkins and Elizabeth Ann (Adams) Perkins.  Foster was born on February 3, 1866 in Stewart County, Georgia.  In 1891, Foster Perkins married Lonnie P. Ingram (born November 10, 1869 in Georgia) and they were the parents of five children:

   George E. Perkins, b. September 19, 1899, Georgia
   Annie Lou Perkins, b. 1903, Stewart County, Georgia

In 1900, Foster and Lonnie Perkins were living in Stewart County, Georgia.  Lonnie (Ingram) Perkins died on December 13, 1909 and was buried in the Randle Crossing Christian Church Cemetery in Stewart County, Georgia.  In 1910, George Foster and his children were living in Stewart County, Georgia.  Foster Perkins married a second time to Jennie Adams (born 1894 in Georgia) and they had no children.  In 1920, George and Jennie Foster were living in Stewart County, Georgia.  George Foster Perkins died on November 2, 1941 and was buried in the Randle Crossing Christian Church Cemetery.  Edna Perkins married a Mr. Cooper.  Mary Ethel Perkins died on March 31, 1915, George Perkins died on January 19, 1929 and William Perkins died on February 11, 1921.

ABNER FLETCHER PERKINS, JR. (2.6.9.5) is the son of Abner Fletcher Perkins and Elizabeth Ann (Adams) Perkins.  Fletcher was born on July 12, 1872 in Stewart County, Georgia.  On December 24, 1894, Fletcher Perkins married Edna Lucy Overby.  Edna was born on February 2, 1873 in Georgia and is the daughter of Basil Hallum Overby and Virginia (Walker) Overby.  Fletcher and Edna Perkins were the parents of four children:

   Abner Fletcher Perkins, III, b. February 8, 1896, Georgia
   Lawrence W. Perkins, b. December, 1898, Georgia
   Virginia Anne Perkins, b. February 2, 1901, Stewart County, Georgia
   Robert Perkins, b. 1908, Stewart County, Georgia

From 1900 to 1910, Abner and Edna Perkins were living in Stewart County, Georgia.  Abner Fletcher Perkins, Jr. died on April 10, 1944 and was buried in the Lumpkin Cemetery in Stewart County, Georgia.  Edna (Overby) Perkins died on August 20, 1949.  Abner Perkins, III died on September 18, 1948.  On October 16, 1952, Virginia Perkins married Amos Darious Webb, son of Marion Webb and Ann (Hogg) Webb.

LUCY BROOKS (2.7) is the daughter of Jordan Brooks (2) and Mary (Cruse) Brooks.  Lucy was probably born between 1790 and 1800 in Edgefield County, South Carolina.  Lucy Brooks married a Mr. Wilkinson.  She was mentioned in her father’s will in 1835.
